"Leave and never come back!"

And at that Terezi was shoved out of the house, only wearing a red sweater and a pair of jeans. No money other than the five bucks in her back pocket. The reason why she got kicked out was pretty dumb, if you asked her, I'd bet my kidney she'd rather not talk about it.

She felt the ground around her, the wet pavement making her feel filthy as ever. The moon was out and lights flickered from the city not far from her house. But she didn't know. She wasn't aware of it at all. Why you ask? Well I'll be frank, Terezi Pyrope is a blind girl. She's been blind for a long time. Unfortunately, she didn't have her cane. Or her red glasses that she took a liking to. All she could do for now was feel the ground in a weak attempt to follow orders and leave. She didn't cry. Not at all. She was glad. Glad that she could finally leave the hellhole she had to call home, glad to finally be free, glad to be-or rather, soon to be disowned. Terezi Pyrope was a blind and glad girl. Well, for now. Don't get me wrong, she will be blind, but glad? Don't make me laugh.

After sitting on the wet pavement, feeling the ground for the hundredth time, she got up clumsily. She needed a place to go, blind or not. She limped on, hovering her hands in front of her, trying her best to stay on the sidewalk. She managed to wander into the noisy city, which wasn't such a good idea. The city was noisy yes, but the cars were careless. One step off of the sidewalk and she'd be roadkill, so she resorted to hugging the walls she passed, leaning on it as she moved on. Many people just ignored her, thankfully. Some people had the nerve to trip her, so she cursed at them, while looking in the wrong direction. Soon enough, she fell into an alleyway while depending too much on the walls. She decided to stay there, hopefully nobody lived there or anything.
"This'll do I guess..." Terezi mumbled, laying down on the rugged pavement, curling into a ball. The honks of speeding cars lulled her to sleep.

"Hey" A hoarse and tired voice said, nudging the dormant blind girl with his foot. Soon enough Terezi began to stir.
"5 more minutes" She mumbled, rolling to her other side.
"Hey!" The voice said again, nudging her a little more stronger. This time, Terezi bolted upwards, realizing her situation.
"What is it? What do you want?" She demanded, looking over to her right, where she thought he was. By now, she guessed that it was most likely morning. If anything, she just wanted him to leave her be.
"Are you new here? Cause this is my spot." The voice said, it sounded aggravated and slightly aggressive.
"What do you mean? The alley?" She asked.
"Yes dumbass, if you didn't notice" He responded, she didn't feel offended by the sudden swearing, Terezi had been through worse. She sighed.
"Fine. I'll go. Have fun with your filthy alleyway" Terezi announced, dragging herself off, feeling the wall beside her. She just wanted to leave.
"Hey" The voice said, slightly confused." You're going the wrong way"
"What do you mean I'm going th-oh" She started, before reaching a dead end. Turning the other way, she felt a pang of embarrassment, but decided to overlook it and continued walking. By all means, lest she never bump into the swearing guy from the alleyway, would she have to wander the streets once again only to go in circles.

But here you go reader, this is the start of the story. No surprises. Just the crossing of paths and a blind girl.

W|N I hope this wasn't too bad ^~^ After reading Homestuck, I couldn't help but break the fourth wall. They call it the fourth right?? Sorry if I just threw another fandom at you readers. I also might point out 'blind' a lot, I hope I don't offend anyone somehow. Just tell me if I do, enjoy though!

Let's see if the author will actually finish this story
