Terezi stretched, her back had been stiff these past few days. Kudos to her sleeping sitting up and propped up against a brick wall. She remembered passing out really quick yesterday, apparently the sun had already set and the stars were out. Nonetheless, the girl still woke up in a daze and searching for Karkat. He was the only one who had a working pair of eyes anyway, harshly speaking. Patting the floor, Terezi crawled over to a body that lay on the cold pavement. She reached his back, quickly patting it in hopes he'd wake up. Instead, Karkat had just tumbled to his side, grumbling about not getting enough sleep. Terezi, who was slightly impatient, began poking the guy. It didn't have a good aftermath. He began cursing at life, shifting once again.

A great idea struck Terezi Pyrope.

She began patting his back, slowly reaching to the top of his head where messy hair tangled about. Reaching for his face she slowly leaned in, sticking her tongue out.

An extremely great idea struck Terezi Pyrope.

With a soft snicker, Terezi moved her face closer to Karkat as she gripped the side of his face in her hands to keep it in place.

She was gonna lick him. And he was gonna suffer greatly.

As her tongue edged closer to her victim, Karkat was now awake, wondering why his head was being cradled.
"Terezi what're you...." He muttered, attempting to look up at the girl as her face slowly moved closer.
"Terezi! What is-" Before the angered teen could continue, Terezi swiftly licked the side of his face, chuckling as she pulled away. Karkat had pushed her aside, wiping his cheek as he grimaced.
"What was that for?" He grumbled, still rubbing whatever was left on his face.
"You wouldn't wake up." Terezi grinned, shrugging almost mockingly. Karkat just groaned and stood up clumsily. He took Terezi's hand and quickly helped her up too.
"To Sollux's place we go." The boy said flatly, he still held Terezi's hand in his own, leading her to Sollux's apartment. They walked down the sidewalk.
"Hey Karkles," Terezi called as they dragged their feet down a path. Karkat sighed.
"I told you not to call me that. And what?" He bitterly replied. Terezi just shrugged.
"Why're you out on the streets?"
"Like it would interest you." He scoffed, focusing on walking. The girl began to pout.
"It wiiiiill, I just wanna know."
"Easy. I ran away cause my parents were bullcrap." Karkat deadpanned as he looked forward at the building they were heading to. Terezi decided to not push him any farther to answer her question. That was probably all she was gonna get with him in his more groggy mood than usual. She could talk to him about it another time.

They'd reached Sollux's apartment sooner or later. Karkat lifted his hand up as to knock but was interrupted by someone yelling. What a lisp. It was Sollux.
"You guys are so fucking stupid!" Sollux's muffled voice cut through the silence. Karkat was about to back up when the door was swung open and slammed shut. Sollux panted as he leaned against the entrance to his apartment. All the boy wore was a pair of pants and a shirt.
"We're going to AA's." He muttered, leading the two without another word.

Sollux climbed over a wooden fence as the two stood there, he then opened the gate, letting them into what seemed to be a backyard. A tall woman in red leaned against the side of the house, smoking a cigarette. Sollux seemed to ignore her, he went straight to the window at the side of the house. Sollux knocked on the window until someone lifted it up. There was Aradia in pyjamas. She looked over at the three of them then climbed out the window and meeting the group, also ignoring the tall woman with a bun in her hair. They sat against the fence of her backyard.
"Strict parents?" Aradia muttered, she looked over at Sollux.
"Strict parents." The boy with the lisp repeated, staring at the ground. Terezi and Karkat also stared at the ground, they were more awkward, having no idea what happened.
"What happened man?" Karkat, also turned to Sollux. He groaned, by now Aradia was also curious as what had happened, so Sollux didn't really have a choice.
"I told them I wanted to move out." He explained flatly. The three listened intently.
"They refused of course. Then I started arguing with them and here I am now."
"You okay?" Aradia asked quietly, she seemed to care about his feelings about the problem more than the problem itself. I guess that's better.
"I don't know." He muttered, looking down as Aradia put an arm around him for comfort. They sat in silence for a while. That is until the tall woman in red walked up to them. She said something in another language, but Aradia seemed to understand what she was saying.

"She wants to treat us to breakfast." Aradia chimed, motioning everybody to get up as the tall woman in red nonchalantly crossed her arms.
"Oh yeah guys, this is my sister Damara." Aradia attempted to introduce her sibling, but Damara seemed to not worry about them knowing her at all. Perhaps she was just like that.
They walked down the sidewalk. Terezi and Karkat starving for food. Sollux in hope to get away from his problems. Aradia to be there for everyone, especially Sollux.
And the ever so mysterious Damara. She just didn't want them to be pubescent, sulking teenagers in the backyard.

McDonalds it was.
