~Mariah's P.O.V.~

"Shut up, Harry," I snap, shoving the door open with force and letting it slam back on Harry, making the other boys laugh. "You already made us late."

"We aren't late," Louis reminds me, glancing at Liam's watch. "Just we're going to be in about one hundred and seven seconds."

My shoes click against the hard floor as I speed walk through the lobby. "Same thing, Louis. You know how much I hate being late. Plus, this is our job. And it's only the third day!"

There's silence, besides a few weird noises that sound like contained laughter, and I can just picture Louis making silent rawrs with cat claws to tease me.

"Louis, Mariah-as-a-cat imitations are not necessary right now," I say coldly, keeping my head straight, looking ahead towards the conference room at the end of the hallway that we were supposed to be in.

This time, they all laugh out loud, and even I crack a smile.

"You know, frick this," I say suddenly and slide off my heels, scooping them up in my hand.

"I'm running, guys," I inform them without turning back. "I don't want to be late because of Mr. Harold over here."

I start to run through the empty hallway. I get the feeling of gliding, probably because the floor is slippery and I'm gliding. The cold air whizzes past my ears, tickling them. I giggle to myself while reaching the door and sliding to a stop.

"Louis, how much time do we have?" I say without turning around. I lift up my left leg and slide on my heel.

"Don't let that dress come up now," Harry says to me, sending me a wink.

Just then, Niall and Zayn come sliding behind Harry and knock into him, shoving him up against the glass window to the conference room. The look on Harry's face was priceless.

I double over in laughter, and I hear the same going on inside the conference room. Probably because they see Harry's squished face in the glass window.

"That's what you get, honey," I say sweetly to Harry, patting him on his head lightly. I twist the door handle and push open, letting Harry fall forward into the conference room floor. I step over him and look up to see Simon and James looking very entertained.

I smile brightly and greet them politely. "Hi, Mr. Cowell and Mr. Cameron."

"Hello, doll," Simon smiles back at me, his eyes crinkling.

"You know you can call us by our first names, Mariah," James tells me, laughing a little bit.

"I know," I laugh slightly in return.

Liam's watch beeps right as Louis, the last one to enter, strolls in like he has no care in the world.

"Well," he says brightly, "I guess we made it on time."

I shake my head, laughing.

"Well!" James claps his hands together once. "Let's get started! We're acting out one of the beginning scenes. After the online chatting, they go to meet at a place. Each person meets the wrong person, and we're going to film the meeting of everyone. That means that Callie and Randy will also be filming."

Callie Marcus and Randy Locke were other people acting in the movie. Callie is acting as the crazy girl that Niall chats online, and Randy is acting as the nut job that I chat online.

Callie is awesome, and I love her so much. She actually reminds me a bit of Louis with her loud voice.

Randy is okay. He's like the opposite of Callie. He's quiet and nice, but he keeps to himself.
