Another in Niall's POV(: This is the awkwardest thing ever and I hardly looked it over sorry in advance okay

~Niall's P.O.V~

I stuck the last box into the truck. My back and shoulders ached from carrying all that stuff down, and I also had my heavy backpack crammed with some travel stuff on. I turned around to find Mariah sadly staring at me. I approached her and encompassed her body in my arms.

"We'll see each other soon," I promised.

"How do you know?" Wow, usually she wasn't pessimistic in the least bit.

"Because I can buy a plane ticket to come see you," I said.

"I don't want you spending all that money on me," Mariah replied, looking down.

I cupped her cheek. "It's worth it, trust me."

A small smile flickered across her face. She opened her mouth to say something and then suddenly stopped. She strained the smile this time. "Thank you."

I dipped my head only a spec lower to meet our lips.

"I'm going to go look at my apartment one last time to make sure I got everything," Mariah announced.

"Okay." I watched her small body make her way back into the apartment building.

After about five minutes, I grew impatient, so I went back up too. Mariah's door was cracked open, and when I peeked in, all she was doing was staring into space. All that was there was a sleeping bag on the ground to sleep in for that one night since the bed was packed. I placed one of my hands on her shoulders, and it fit perfectly. She turned gradually towards me. There were light, clear tears on her smooth cheeks.

"I don't want to go," she whispered.

"I don't either," I replied softly, letting my eyes rest on her warm features.

A small teardrop slipped out of Mariah's eye, and I kissed it instinctively. Suddenly I found my lips making a light path from the corner of her eye to behind her ear and then down her neck. She shivered under my lips' touch and moaned ever-so-softly.

"Niall, stop," she said weakly.

"You know you love it," I said and smirked. I felt my own warm breath reflect back to me off of her skin.

Mariah ducked down to meet my lips with hers. She took control by sliding her tongue into my mouth without warning, and her hands ruffled my hair as they plowed through.

Our tongues battled each other while my hands slid over her body, making her tongue fall limp against mine.

"Stop," she complained softly, but it didn't sound like she really wanted me to do that.

I didn't respond to her verbally, I just fought her physically. I pushed my body closer to hers, and I myself groaned. It was her turn to smirk; I knew it because I felt her lips rise when we were kissing.

She took a quick breather, but I took action, moving down against her shirt's lining. She pushed into me.

"Mmmm," she hummed into my mouth while shoving my shirt up, up, up.

Then I got caught in the moment and pushed her shirt up, too. Seconds later I was looping my fingers under the waistline of her jeans.

"Niall, stop," she said, but this time it sounded different.

I stopped.

"I can't do this," Mariah breathed, backing away only centimeters.

"I'm sorry," I started. "I know --"
