~Mariah's P.O.V.~
"Rise and shine!" a mocking voice screamed in my ear.
My eyes opened to reveal an evil Louis. "Go. Away. Now."
"Oh, but every day aren't you the one waking all of us up?" Louis said innocently.
"That's when we have to get up. We don't have to do anything today. If you bother Mariah she will poison your food next time you rudely demand her to get you a meal," I threatened.
"Talking in third person is creepy, just so you know," Louis told me while he stayed in his spot.
"I think Louis wants to have poisoned food."
"It's 'you' not 'Louis' because you're talking to me. You're using the wrong point of view again," Louis informed me. The other boys always smirk when they're purposely annoying me, but Louis has a straight face and it bothers me even more.
"Louis," I growled in a warning tone.
"Tsk tsk tsk. I don't think your boyfriend would find this attractive."
My sleepiness had completely vanished by this point. I sat up, grabbed my pillow, and whacked Louis over and over again.
Louis began to shriek and ran out of my room screaming, "I don't think Niall would like your violent behavior either missy!"
I rolled my eyes at him, taking no offense. I've learned to completely disregard anything Louis says unless he says that he's serious. For some reason we all believe him then, and he knows not to be an idiot and screw that up.
I pushed the covers off of me. Immediately I picked out an outfit to wear after I showered. Now that I was actually up, I wanted to start my day and so I took a quick shower. Then I changed into my clothes, checked to make sure I had my key, and picked up the event calendar to plan my day.
Perks of being an actress: this cabin was huge. It wasn't compact like most cruise ship rooms; it had two beds and a nightstand, a couch and lamp, a TV set, a mini fridge and microwave, a desk with a chair, and a decently sized closet beside the bathroom. I took a seat at the desk and began to highlight things on the itinerary that I wanted to do.
Before I knew it, pretty much half of the sheet was covered in yellow highlights, so I made my way out of the room with a map. I easily navigated to the lobby on my floor and from there found my way to the salon. Apparently on the first day they were doing free manicures and pedicures.
"Hello!" a cheery voice greeted me when I walked in. It belonged to a lady with sleek, dark hair and a loose, red top. "Do you want a mani and a pedi? Today we give those for free! We have some discount or free service everyday!"
I smiled. "Yes please."
She led me over to a more secluded area in the back and sat me down. "Tina will be right with you." Then she went back to the desk at the front.
Soon enough another lady came out the back. It wasn't long before we were chatting it up.
"Did you hear that after Randy Locke is going to be in Mockingjay? You know, the third Hunger Games book?" she asked me, peering up briefly from my nails. We had been talking about the movies.
"Yeah! He was telling me about that the other da -"
"Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa. Wait."
I paused in my excitement to look at her. "Mm?"
"You're Mariah Cannaday," she said in awe.
I blushed. I wasn't quite used to this yet, but it wasn't that bad. I was pretty famous, I guess, but being famous really isn't that hard. One Direction is a group of hot boys, so girls are always going to be running up screaming. But take Jennifer Aniston - not nearly as many people go up screaming to her, but she's pretty freaking famous.
