~Mariah's P.O.V.~

"Oh, thank goodness!" I cry happily into the phone. I run over to my laptop and type in my own name into the search bar.

My eyes scan through all of the different articles while Mary, my agent, keeps talking. "We didn't even have to do much. Some other photos weren't released before, and they're the ones that make you not look bad."

I click on the first link, and the page loads. I zone out Mary's voice while I read the article.

-.-.-

Apparently this newfound sweetheart to Niall Horan remains a sweetheart. Mariah Cannaday, an actress new to show biz, and Niall Horan were seen in the park on a lovely day getting quite romantic.

The hot boy band member never lost faith in Mariah when she was accused of cheating on him with an old childhood friend. These pictures came out a few days ago, making Mariah look not so innocent after all.

But now, more photos have been released and it looks like Mariah was indeed loyal. She pushed that other fellow away, and returned to the hot Irish lad.

Hollywood did indeed gain a gorgeous darling for Niall Horan. What do Directioners have to say about this?

-.-.-

There were seven pictures total. Two of us in the park, two of John and I, and three of me pushing away from John.

I take one last glance at them before tuning back into what Mary is saying.

"So, remember that tonight you have to come to Twentieth Century Fox, and we'll get you to the party."

"Okay," I say. "Bye!"

We hang up, and I swear as soon as I press the End button my phone starts ringing again. Callie's face takes up the whole screen.

"Hey, Callie," I chirp, putting the phone to my ear.

"Hay girl hayyy," she sings loudly. That's the Callie I know.

I laugh. "What's up?"

"Nothing much. I was just wondering if you had something to wear to the red carpet tonight."

I groan. "Crap, I forgot I actually have to look good for that."

"Hon, you always look good, shut up!" Callie reprimands me. Gosh, she can put a smile on everyone the way she goes about.

I nestle the phone between my ear and my shoulder so that I can get myself breakfast, maybe some pancakes. "Thanks, but no thanks. Anyway, do you have anything?"

"Nope," Callie pops the p. "Wanna head out to go dress shopping?"

"Yeah, sure! I'm making pancakes, so you can come over here first if you haven't eaten. Then we can head out," I suggest.

"Yum, I love pancakes!" Callie squeals, making me laugh with her. She gets excited over the most small of things. "I'm definitely coming, I'll be there in 30 minutes?"

"That's fine, see you!"

I hang up the phone for the second time as I pull out the last thing I need to make pancakes. I head to my room to pick out a cute outfit to go shopping and head into the bathroom for a quick shower.

It only takes me fifteen minutes to get out of there because I don't put on any makeup. I hate doing that. Why try to look prettier on a normal day? Maybe I'm not drop-dead gorgeous, but I'd rather look like me everyday because one day I won't wear makeup. Then I'll think I'm even uglier without it than I do now, and I think that's worse for my self-esteem.
