Chapter 1

Day 1, Lindsay's house

Lindsay woke up, early in the morning, when she heard the alarm beeping. She woke up, her heart pumping uncontrollably fast.

She sighed. She stood up from her bed, trying to shake off her sleepiness.

Bathroom

She walked gloomily to the bathroom, brushed her teeth, changed her clothes, and went downstairs.

Dining area

When she reached the dining table, she saw her dad, sitting down, drinking coffee and reading newspaper, as usual.

She sat down at her chair, waiting patiently for her mom to finish cooking her breakfast.

She smelled the scent of the food, craving for it even more, but she waited.

Her mom finally finished cooking and placed the meal in front of her.

She ate her breakfast, which were omelette and rice.

After that, she heard a car beeping. It was the school bus.

She said: "Bye mom, bye dad, I need to go to the school bus now. See you later!"

Her mom said: "Bye sweetheart!"

Her dad said: "See you later!"

Lindsay opened the door and went out, into the world of a new day.

Bus

Lindsay rode a bus that time heading to Hatille University.

She stared at the window and saw the scenery of the place, she was attracted to the places she never went before, and she was excited to meet her new friends in the school.

Lindsay thought: "Hmm. I wonder how my new school would look like."

Outside, in front of the school

Lindsay went down to the bus as she saw and she came to the large gates of the school, as she saw gigantic letters forming the name Hatille University.

Lindsay said: "Woah! Hatille University."

Hatille University are one of those ivy league top universities in America. Though it's not as good as Harvard, it's still much better than those other lame universities.

She was amazed, jaw dropped, eyes glistening, to everything that she saw. She felt just fantastic and unbelievable that she's going to start studying at this university, no more home-schooling for her.

Lindsay will miss her old home school teacher, which she hardly ever meet once a year.

School parking lot

She came in the gate and saw the cars moving all around the parking lot.

She also saw a bunch of students carrying and dragging their backpacks and trolley bags, heading towards inside.

She came in the door, mesmerized with the design, architecture and beauty of the school.

Inside the school

She never experienced being in a real school before. That's because she went home schooling on her childhood.

Her parents and Lindsay lived for approximately 10 years in Africa, Alaska, and even the Amazons. That's because their parents have a research there. Her parents are scientists.

Over the years, Lindsay had turned into a daring and adventurous girl.

Their parents has a high salary, but in exchange their work is dangerous and tiring. Yet, they still maintain a good relationship with each other, maintaing a happy family.
