Chapter 8

Next day, Tuesday, Lindsay's house

Lindsay woke up from the loud beeping of her small, but terrible obstreperous alarm clock, as she smashed it with her hand.

She had a nightmare last night, and being suddenly woken up by an alarm clock was probably a risk that you'll either be freed or have a serous heart attack.

Her morning went fast as she immediately went to school early.

School

When she reached school, Rachel saw her and said: "Library, now."

School library

Lindsay didn't know what to say so she just followed the order and followed her to the library. They went to a hidden spot where most students use as a place to use their phones. They were both faced to faced with their arms crossed below their breast.

Rachel said: "Oh Lindsay, oh, oh, oh."

"What do you want?"

"I want to ruin your first year of experiencing real school."

"Pfft, like you can."

"Of course I can."

"I don't think so."

"I'm going to make sure I remove all your friends, one by one."

"Hmm, let's see if you can."

Lindsay turned her back and walked away from the zone.

Rachel made a small evil laugh, as if she was saying like "of course I can do it."

Reagan actually heard their conversation behind the nearby bookshelf. There, she listened, and heard everything.

Lunch, canteen

Lindsay, Madison, and Rebecca were sitting at one table, eating their lunch. In the other table, is Rachel, alone, waiting for Reagan to come by.

After Reagan got her food, she went ahead to find her seat. She saw two tables. Rachel smiled at her, like she was encouraging her to seat beside her.

But no, she went to Lindsay's table, and there she ate.

Rachel gave a furtive mischievous look to Lindsay.

Lindsay was surprised that Reagan didn't sit with Rachel. It was confirmed that they both are officially friends.

Lindsay stared at Reagan, smiling.

Reagan said: "What?"

In the middle of history class, classroom

One of the strict and lean teachers named Mrs. Duff from the POD came to the classroom.

She said: "Where is Rachel? I need her to come with me."

Rachel asked: "Why?"

"It's about the broken laptops incident."

Rachel slowly stood up and followed her into the POD.

Prefect of Discipline office

They both sat down at a red sofa, with a table in front, with papers and documents on top.

Mrs. Duff said: "As I have seen in and suspected the CCTV cameras, I found out that all students were in the computer room, but you left the classroom, and why is that?"

"I had a stomach ache, I immediately went towards the clinic after everybody came back the classroom."

"I see, but one thing is certain, you and Aaron were the same group members in your group, so when everyone left, you sneak upon their laptops and malfunction it, so that you could avenge your laptop, who was broken. Make sense right, isn't it, Rachel?"
