Chapter 38

Secret basement

Lindsay shouted: "Get off me!"

"Shhh.."

Lindsay looked back and realized that it was Reagan all along.

Reagan took off her mask.

Lindsay said: "Reagan?"

"Surprise!"

Reagan turned on the main light.

Madison, Rebecca, Audrey, Marcus, Dennis, Teacher Angel and Professor Joel were also in the secret basement.

Lindsay asked: "What.. Is this place?"

"This is my secret basement."

"Woah.."

Lindsay turned her head around, amazed with everything that she's looking at.

Reagan explained: "This is where I practiced before, being black canary, also my secret room."

"Wow, I didn't noticed this before in your house. And I must say, this place sure is wide."

Madison admitted: "Well, yea."

Lindsay looked around the place. The room was futuristic. The wall was sort of made in white stained glass. The room is surrounded with white glowing substance, which lies behind the walls, illuminating the room all around. Large tubes are placed in the walls, some filled with blue glowing substance, others filled with pink or purple glowing substance.

At the front, lies five computer desks, each with futuristic computers.

There was a set of book shelves too, filled with hundreds of books.

In the left, there was a few couches, with a large screen high definition TV sticking on the wall.

In the back, there's a storage area, filled with weapons, gadgets, and more.

If you press an invisible button somewhere at the Northwest of the room, you'll be transported to the even more secret area, the training area.

Lindsay pressed the invisible button, a part of the wall moved and went to the left opening a rectangular space to go in.

Lindsay entered, together with the others.

The room was dimly lifted, and the walls we're all painted black.

Reagan said: "This is the training area."

In the training area, there was a punching bag. There was a wardrobe made from nothing but glass, allowing you to see what's inside since it's translucent.

Inside it, was where the black canary suit was hunged.

Lindsay stared at the suit, gazing at it as she walks pass by it.

In the table, was where the black canary mask was placed, and where she puts her expandable baton.

Lindsay pressed the button again and entered back to the room.

Reagan was the last to come out so she pressed the button and the part of the wall slided to the right to close the space.

Oddly, there was a bed in the ceiling. Below it, was a cushion.

Reagan explained: "In my bedroom, if you knock on the bed, it turns upside down, along you fall down here."

Lindsay asked: "How do you get up?"

Reagan answered: "Press the anti-gravity button."

"Where?"

Beside the cushion, was button.
