Chapter 23

Lindsay strangled as she punched one of the men, but she couldn't fight all those four men as the men harassed her.

Teacher Angel was about to call help when suddenly,

A girl came running into the group of men, exploiting inside.

The girl wore a black cleavage topped with a black biker jacket. and black leggings. Wore black gloves and long black boots. Had a blonde and curly hair. She had a black domino mask on her face. She used all those as her disguise.

The mysterious girl elbowed one of the men at the left and punched the other men at the right.

Then she grabbed an expandable baton from her pocket and defiantly wielded it.

The other two men went at her left and the other at her right.

She then wielded her stick, spinning it as she spin her body as well while the two men were fighting her.

She smacked the one at left with a stick as he sags down in to the ground.

The last man attempted to stab her, but she just dodged it and with her stick, she smack his leg as he collapses.

She then took off as she leaped onto the stacked crates, and when she was about to vanish, Lindsay said: "Thank you."

The girl turned her head. Lindsay thought she saw her smile a bit, but it went away after a moment.

Then Lindsay asked: "Who are you?"

The girl answered, in a cold voice and mysterious accent: "I'm.. the black canary." Then she turned her head and vanished.

Lindsay stared at her as she vanished into the darkness.

Teacher Angel said to herself: "Isn't that? Hmm.."

Next day, homeroom

Teacher Joel announced to the whole class: "Everyone, we will have a science fair today."

"Woooooooooo!"

"And it's Rachel's birthday tomorrow, don't forget to go! Everyone is invited."

"Nooooooooooo!"

"If you didn't go remember, minus points."

"Ughhhhhhhh."

"Class, it's almost bell and I have to go. Do you guys have any questions before I leave?"

"Umm, so cher by the way, what's going to be the schedule for today?"

"Have you forgotten already? Hadn't your science teacher told you already? Okay fine, let me repeat what your science teacher told you." as he grabs his schedule paper and he started to read it.

"So, first we're going to meet some astronomers with some meteorites they brought, and if you're lucky enough, you'd have a chance to touch one of those."

"What else?"

"Second part would be.. if I remembered right.. you'd be looking at a telescope.."

"What else?"

"You'd be asking questions from astronomers, that's it."

The bell rang and it is recess time, mostly everyone went to the cafeteria.

Teacher Joel said: "Okay, so after recess will be your science fair, okay?"

"Okay Cher."

"Bye!"

"Bye Cher."

Recess, cafeteria

Lindsay called her friends: "Madison, Rebecca, and Reagan come here!" as Lindsay was excited to say something to her friends.
