Chapter 50

Awarding day, gymnasium

Principal Spenser said: "Welcome to the awarding of our 2015 Hatille University Intramurals."

Everyone clapped their hands and cheered.

Principal Spenser said: "It has been a fun and exciting this weekday. But for now, we shall announce the winners of the Intramurals 2015."

Lindsay said: "I'm so nervous."

Skyla said: "I know right."

Rebecca said: "I hope we'll win."

From the other side, Britney said: "I'm so excited to win!"

The principal announced: "To accomplish great things, you must not only act, but dream; not only plan, but believe."

Everyone looked at each other.

Principal Spenser said: "These past few days, we actively participated in a series of competition which tested our probing minds, physical endurance and indomitable spirit. We were not just spectators, we also served as mentors, sources of inspiration and team supporters."

The principal continued: "As part of the Hatille University, we all had our share of triumphs, adrenaline rush, disappointments, dashes of anger and frustrations. Today is the denouement of such mixed emotions as we finally announce the deserving athletes and team players."

Mr. Dixon went up the stage and said: "Thank you for that wonderful speech."

"Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail. So, a real winner is somebody who did his or her best and has learned something worthwhile from the experience. Therefore, I would like to congratulate everybody for being winners."

"Now, let us reward those who have done excellently in this event, and recognized these talented people we have here. Let us now begin with the awarding!"

Everyone cheered and clapped their hands.

"Winner for this year's cheerleading contest, goes to.."

The drumroll was played.

Lindsay said: "OMG this is so.. so intense!"

Madison said: "I know right! I hope we win."

Mr. Dixon said: "Cool Asians!"

Cool Asians cheered: "Woooo!"

Mr. Dixon said: "Congratulations, now get up on stage and perform your outstanding performance."

Cool Asians happily went up on stage and performed their cheerleading again.

As they dance, Lindsay said depressingly: "How.. how.. did we lose?"

Rebecca said: "That's life, you need to accept things the way there are."

After Cool Asians danced, they went down on stage and Mr. Dixon went up on stage.

Cool Asians were given a trophy and a medal.

Mr. Dixon said: "That was a fantasic performance. Now, next, the winner of the jersey design is.."

Lindsay said: "Oh my gosh, I hope it's us."

"Mean Girls!"

Reagan said: "Ugh."

The Mean Girls screamed and cheered.

Rachel said: "Haha! Take that losers!"

Sarah said: "Thanks to Barbie, she worked hard designing that jersey design."
