Chapter 44

Outside the warehouse

The burglars were outside the warehouse.

The warehouse was a humongous warehouse. Though it was large, it is also dilapidated and abandoned. The warehouse looked filthy and old.

The warehouse is part of Mr. Henry's (Reagan's dad) property. Mr. Henry has been a rich man, that started off with this warehouse. For years, he used it for storage, trade, and other stuff that involves business. But now, it's been abandoned.

The burglars said: "Sir, we're here at the exact location where the warehouse is."

Aaron replied: "Okay do your best."

The leader turned off his phone.

He said: "Let's do this."

His other two burglars said: "Yes, sir."

One of the burglars took out a lockpick and broke the lock of the gate. They opened the gate wide, and entered inside, closing it after they entered.

Warehouse

The burglars took out their flashlights.

The warehouse looked decrepit like it was falling apart. It was also grim and gloomy inside.

There were dust layered on the floor, cobwebs were hanged off the walls, the damp was seeping across the ceiling, the smell was overpowering, the drains are clogged with hair and there were smudges on the windows and mirrors are covered with dust. The crates, boxes, and shelves were unorganized and messy.

This neglected warehouse looked like an abandoned garage or even a witch's house.

One of the burglars peeked at the restroom, and stepped away the moment he smelled the foul stench coming out from it.

The leader said: "Let's split up. Atleast one of us should be able to get specific documents that regards about the school."

The burglars splitted and went to look for the documents in the gigantic place.

They started opening crates, breaking stuff, and doing whatever they can just to find it.

Suddenly, while one of the burglars is opening crates, a gunshot was heard. He looked up disguised, and saw Dennis disguised, holding a gun pointed at him.

He immediately ran away, and Dennis continued shooting. All of the burglars heard the gunshot and splitted out even more.

When he found a hiding spot in a corner, he hid there and took out his gun and refilled it with ammos. Then he revealed himself and started shooting Dennis.

Dennis dodged it and also shot an ammo. The burglar also dodged it.

At the back of the burglar, it turns out Lindsay was there with a dagger as she tried to stab him. The burglar dodged and tried to shoot Lindsay also disguised, everyone is.

Lindsay kicked the gun from his hand, and both of them started fighting intensively.

Meanwhile, the other burglar was also running away, when he heard he saw an arrow missed him. He looked back and saw Professor Joel disguised hanging at the ceiling with a bow and arrow at his hand.

Professor Joel tried shooting again, but the arrow missed the burglar and the burglar started running again.

Professor Joel went down to the ground, and chased after him.

Meanwhile, the leader was also running, went he stopped to catch his breath.

While panting, Reagan descended from the ceiling to the ground using her black scarf and drawn out her extendable baton.
