Chapter 45

Gymnasium

Each group were holding their group posters as they enter the gymnasium.

Principal Spenser went up the stage and made a speech.

Principal Spenser announced: "Ladies and gentleman, welcome to the 37th anniversary of our Hatille University Intramurals 2015."

Everyone cheered and clapped their hands.

Principal Spenser said: "This event is defined as a recreational sports organization, individual or team competitions. It showcases different values which are embodied by the athletes since they are the core components of the sports event. One of the most important aspect of this event is sportsmanship. It means accepting fair results, teamwork, and consideration of ethics, and showing sense of fellowship with one's competitor."

He continued: "Let us just enjoy the three-day intramurals for the year 2015. Please no serious fights during and after all the events, please don't throw abusive verbal attack to one another, please respect everyone; and most of all, be humble for winning and show acceptance for losing."

The audience mumbled with each other.

He continued: "Let us all take this as an opportunity to unwind and refresh ourselves since this event is not related to academics, but it is time to chill, to cheer, to shine, to inspire and to shout at the peak of your voices for your most valued players. Always remember, to have fun always. Thank you and to God be the glory."

Everyone clapped their hands and shouted at the peak of ther voices their cheers to the principal.

Lindsay said: "I'm impressed."

Madison said: "The principal has always been able to come up with speeches like this. Don't underestimate him."

Principal Spenser announced: "Okay, let's start the cheering of the other groups."

Lindsay said: "Shoot, we haven't practiced yet for cheering."

Madison said: "Do your best guys."

Audrey said: "I hope for the best."

"We have our judges here for the cheering."

"Ms. Bertha, Mr. Movi, and Ms. Bett."

The judges stood up together.

Everybody clapped their hands and cheered.

"Okay, let's start the cheering with Team Clueless."

Team Clueless went up on stage.

The cheering started, Team Clueless started cheering for their team.

Team Clueless cheered: "Working for a victory, striving for a win. Reaching for the top. The fighters can't be stopped!
We never give up, we never give in
We'll fight till the end. Team Clueless is here to win!"

"Team Clueless! Woo!"

Ms. Bertha said: "Look at their passion and gracefulness in every action they perform."

Mr. Movi said: "I agree."

The cheering finished with Reagan doing an astonishing move as she tumbled three times consecutively gracefully and everyone bowed with a sudden boom of confetti all over the place.
