Chapter 33

Teachers' faculty room

Mr. Dixon walked into the faculty room and he saw the teachers staring at him and some waved at him. He quickly smiled weakly in return.

He sat on his regular, plain old boring table and he just drank coffee from his boring mug.

Mr. Dixon grunted very loudly in the faculty. Then he realized that all the teachers were staring at him. He shrugged the anger away from him.

Classroom

Then, he headed to his advisory classroom, which is very boring for him. Along the way, Mr. Dixon did something unusual.

Hallway

A teacher passed by him, talking to someone at her smart phone, and also drinking water from a mug. Mr. Dixon accidentally bumped her by her side and she dropped her phone to the mug with water.

He also accidentally splashed the water on another person's face and sneezed accidentally on a student. This day is not working out too well, at least, in his luck.

Mr. Dixon remembered his parents telling him: "There will be a day when everything will not go out so well. In that time, you have to be able to bare it. Because if you don't, the curse will go on and on. Until then, you must prepare and be ready."

Mr. Dixon thought that this was the day. Maybe it is, he thought. He thought that maybe someone will die if he doesn't break this curse, which he was very uncertain about it.

"I'd had a lot of unlucky days, could this be the one?" he thought, questioning himself over and over again, hoping that he could break that curse once and for all of it happened to be that day.

At the other side, Lindsay was spying Mr. Dixon and his unnecessary actions he did in these days.

She wrote everything that happened to Mr. Dixon in her secret folder, she was also planning to tell it to her friends.

Hallway, beside the lockers

Lindsay went to her friends like she was excited to tell them like some good news.

Lindsay said: "Guys, you won't believe what I just found."

Madison said: "It must be really good, huh."

Lindsay said: "Yes! Definitely. Wait, where's professor Joel?"

Rebecca said: "He said he'll be late."

Marcus said: "Don't worry, he'll come."

Audrey said: "Okay. Let's just sit down first."

They sat down in the floor in circles and started talking.

Lindsay grabbed an envelope in her bag, then she opened her envelope and pulled out some notes.

Lindsay said: "But it's almost bell. Oh well, anyways, this is what I got, you won't believe it. It's really shocking, but let's get started. So this morning, he-"

Rapid footsteps trembled. They all looked at ther right, and saw Professor Joel rushing, running as fast as he could as he entered the hallway.

When he reached them, he bended over and placed his hands on his lap, gasping for air.

"So-sorry." as he breathes loudly and rapidly, inhaling air.

He continued: "So, what's the deal?"

Lindsay said: "Well umm.. Mr. Dixon did some stupid and weird things today."

"Well then, tell me."

"Okay then. So, as I was saying, this morning, he-"

"Hey you!"
