Garnet's POV:
Beep! Beep! Beep! I rolled over and turned off my alarm clock. I rolled back onto my back and sleepily stared at the ceiling. After a moment or two of staring at the empty void above me, I got out of bed and started to get ready for school. Now, you'd think that most normal 16 year olds would just hit the snooze button and sleep till their mom came and ripped the covers off of their head forcing them to get up. Well, I don't know if you've noticed by now or not, but, I'm not a normal 16 year old. I'm all on my own. I live with my mom, but she doesn't give a shit about me. So, I taught myself how to be independent. I went to the bathroom, took a shower, and did my hygiene routine. When I finished I went back to my room and got ready for school. I put on a black t-shirt, black skinny jeans, black converse, and a black beanie on. I put my silver stud through my nose piercing, and a safety pin through the piercing at the top of my ear. I put on a little bit of black eye shadow and mascara. My nails were painted a glossy black. My hair was long and black with red streaks going through it. I know this outfit sounds like I'm this dark, scary chick who doesn't give a damn about anyone or anything around me. But, that's not true. A person's past can really take a toll on how they turn out in the future. Don't judge someone before you get to know them. When I was finished, I went over to the small black box on my dresser and opened it up. I pulled out a silver chain with a heart dangling from it. In the middle of the heart, the word Love was engraved. After I put on the necklace, I grabbed by backpack and headed out the door. My mom was probably in her room asleep. Not knowing that I even came home last night. Not that she cares but, whatever. I headed out the door and walked to school. I don't have a car, mainly because my mom refuses to put forth any of her time and money towards me. So, I walk everywhere I go. When I got to school, I walked through the doors with my head down. Everybody stared at me and whispered to each other as I made my way to my locker. I opened it to have it slammed closed by the devil himself. He slammed my locker with one hand and leaned on the locker next to me. I jumped back from my locker and looked at the ground. His four friends, or as I like to call them, minions crowded around me. I fixed my backpack on my shoulder and switched my weight to my left hip.
Garnet: "What do you want Justin?"
Shivers went down my spine as I said his name.
Justin: "Nothin. Just thought I'd drop by and say hello. Hello."
I didn't say anything back. I just breathed. Hoping he'd leave me alone.
Breath in, breath out. Breath in, breath out. Maybe he'll leave me alone. Breath in, breath out.
I tried not to look directly at him. I knew he was getting angry. I didn't have to see it. I could feel it. Justin grabbed my face with one hand and forced me to look up at him. I tried to wiggle loose and pry his hands off of me, but he was too strong. I started to shake with fear. God knows this guy could do anything to me at this point. I know it seems like I shouldn't be afraid of him. I'm supposed to be the punk, rock, badass bully. Well, I'm not. I'm the bullie. I'm the one getting bullied. And Justin is my bully. He tightened his grip on my face and made me look at him.
Justin: "When I say something to you, you say something back. Got it?"
I stayed silent. I've gotta keep my grounds. I'm stronger than this. He can't force me to talk.
Justin: "I said GOT IT?!"
He yelled in my face. My breathing started to get heavier. I was scared.
BREATH IN, BREATH OUT. BREATH IN, BREATH OUT. BREATH IN BREATH OUT!!!!!!!!!!
Eventually, Justin let go of my face and pushed me to the ground. He gave me a smirk and I sat there on the ground.
