Garnet's POV:
I woke up feeling drained and listless. It was a terrible feeling, and it was all his fault. Justin's fault, not Micah's. I rolled out of bed and got dressed before heading to the bathroom to do my morning hygiene routine. I washed the dried tear on my face before brushing my teeth and pulling my hair into a side braid. When I was done, I grabbed my backpack and phone before heading out the door.
Garnet: "Bye mom!"
Mom: "Have a good day."
As I walked down the street, I put in my earbuds and turned the volume all the way up. I kicked a pebble in front of me as I thought of Micah. I really missed him, but I didn't do anything wrong...did I? I mean, it's not like I kissed Justin. He kissed me, and I pushed him away. God, I don't even know at this point.
Before I knew it, I was at school. I took out my earbuds and walked through the double doors. Of course people were staring at me and whispering behind my back. Just like old times right? I walked down the hallways and searched for Trent. After a few minutes of searching, I found him at his locker talking to a few other guys. I tapped him on the shoulder and waited for him to turn around. He slowly turned around to see who it was. As soon as he was facing me, I pulled my arm back and swung as hard as I could. His face flew to the right and he fell back. His hands covered his nose as blood came from it. I bent down to his level.
Garnet: "I don't know what the hell I ever did to you. But whatever I did must've really gotten to you if you had to post that goddamn video for revenge. Oh, and by the way, that video is a little off from what really happened. Next time, try and be just a little more accurate with your dirt on other people."
I stood up and turned around. Justin walked up behind me with a smirk.
Justin: "Damn, Garnet. I didn't know you could hit so har-"
I threw my fist at his face, like I did Trent's. My fist hit his nose. He fell back and held his nose, groaning in pain. I bent down so that he could hear me clearly.
Garnet: "Don't act like this isn't your fault too! If you would have just gotten it through your head, that I had a boyfriend and don't like you in that way, we wouldn't have this problem. But you were just too damn selfish and now Micah's gone. So, thanks a lot! And don't talk to me anymore!!"
I stood up and looked down at the two boys lying on the ground with bloody noses in front of me. And cue furious teacher in 3...2...
Mr. Green: "Miss Reppling!!"
See? Told you it'd get me in trouble. And it did feel pretty good to hit them both. I turned around to face Mr. Green. His face was tomato red, you could practically see the steam coming from his ears.
Mr. Green: "Is this your responsibility?"
He pointed to the boys on the floor.
Garnet: "Yes, sir."
Mr. Green: "Follow me straight to the principle's office. Now!"
I followed Mr. Green into Mr. Harrison's office and sat in one of the leather chairs. I put my backpack onto the ground next to my feet. Mr. Green started to explain what he saw in the hallway to Mr. Harrison. I sat and stared at my feet. I wasn't proud of being sent to the principle's office, but I wasn't sorry for hitting those to either. I'll take the punishment, no argument involved. But, my bruised hand and their bloody noses are nothing but proof that I feel at least a little bit better.
Mr. Geen left after a explaining to Mr. Harrison what happened. Mr. Harrison and I sat in silence, staring at each other and listening to the clock tick.
