Chapter 8

Garnet's POV:

Micah: "I love you."

Come agin??!!

Garnet: "What?"

Micah: "You are one of the best things that has ever happened to me. Your one of the most amazing people I've ever met. You're fun, kind, cool, beautiful. I don't know what I would do without you. You taught me not to judge someone by the way they look. Everyone sees you as trouble, emo, scary, mean. But your none of those things. Your the complete opposite. That's one of the things I love about you. If people got to know you like I do, they'd be proven wrong. I like you Garnet. I've felt this way since the day we met.I can't imagine life without you. And I was wondering if you'd be my girlfriend."

I was in awe. He said he loved me. No one besides my Nana has ever said that to me. He loves me. Wow. What to say when the guy you like says 'I like you'? I know i's a stupid question. But, if you were in my situation you'd be wondering the same thing.

Garnet: "I-I love you too."

Micah smiled and pulled me in for a hug. He wrapped his arms around me and I did the same back. We pulled back and stared at each other. We leaned in until we were moments away from our lips touching. Then it happened. We kissed. It was amazing. And might I add that he is one hell of a kisser. We sat under the stars kissing. Then we pulled back and smiled at each other. After about 10 more minutes under the stars, Micah and I went to my house to watch movies. We watched a couple of action and comedy movies. After all of those, Micah suggested that we watch a horror movie.

Garnet: "What do you wanna watch now?"

We were sitting on the couch. Micah had his arm wrapped around my waist. I had my head on his shoulder.

Micah: "What about Carrie?"

Garnet: "Um...o-ok."

Oh yeah. I hate horror movies. They're terrifying!! I just can't watch them. And I can't run in the middle of a movie because I want to make sure that the monster dies so that they can't come and get me in my sleep. And if they don't die till the 5th movie or whatever, then I guess it's a horror movie marathon because I have to make sure their dead. Micah smiled and held me tighter.

Micah: "Don't worry. I'm right here."

I smiled and put the movie on. After a good while. It started getting scary. In the middle of the movie, a scary part came and I screamed. I wrapped my arms around Micah's neck and buried my head in his chest. He wrapped his arms around me, and turned the movie off. I looked up to see him smiling. I laid my head back down on his chest, and he ran fingers through my hair sending my to sleep.

Best birthday ever...

Garnet's POV (Monday):

I walked into school, and went to my locker. After getting my books, I turned around. Justin was standing right in front of me with his hands in his pockets. What the hell could this bastard want now?

Justin: "Sup loser."

Garnet: "What the hell do you want?"

Justin: "After school we're gonna go for pizza."

Garnet: "Excuse me?"

Justin: "You heard me."

Garnet: "There's no way I'm going anywhere with you. And why are being so nice to me all of a sudden?"
