Chapter 18

(Niall's POV)

I stood there, emotioess, looking at Alexa's empty body.

There was no more life, no more spirit.

I would never get to see her beautiful smile again, or hear that soothing voice of hers.

Annie came over to me, and I took her in my arms, placing my head on hers.

"She's gone." Annie sobbed.

I couldn't even speak of how bad I felt.

I knew I was being selfish when I told her to hold on for life, but it was worth a try.

I let go of Annie, and went over to Alexa's grave, placing the roses on top of her name.

"Thank you. For changing my life. You will always be in my heart." I whispered, feeling the cold wind go against my face.

I felt a gentle, warm touch on my face.

"I love you Alexa."
