Friends?

A dolphin child?

I felt myself slide forward and I awoke with a start only to realize that I have fallen, and me being so small actually fit in the small space in between the two seats, and now was stuck there. Just my luck. I struggled with no luck and I think I was even more stuck now. Then I heard laughing around me. I looked up embarrassed and saw everyone looking at me. My face got warmer and I just wanted to sink down into the invisibleness. Ugh, way to go, now I'm gonna be the laughingstock of the day. Yep. I'm gonna die now. I looked around once more and caught the sight of some familiar faces: Kyle, Frankie, David, Nathaly, Sky, Sam, Logan, Robbie, and even Mr. M, who looked like he was laughing so hard he was gonna pee his pants.

“Ummm, can someone stop laughing and actually help me up, this is really painful,” I whispered looking down embarrassed. Everyone just looked around and I was just left there with no one’s help. Soon I just saw a flash and looked over at Nathaly with her camera taking a picture of me. She would actually take a picture of my embarrassing moment stuck in the chairs but not helping me at all. I wiggled in my seat and tried to get out but with no luck. Soon Sammy just grabbed my arm and pulled me up. He’s so strong, but it’s not as if I haven’t noticed because I have. I looked down hiding my flustered face and soon just went to sit at my original seat next to Sammy and in front of Logan and Robbie. Sam sat next to me and kept stealing glances at me.

“What’s wrong now?” I asked him annoyed.

“Paige, are you mad because we ruined your special moment with Logan?” he smirked and I just got madder. I don’t like Logan, sure, he’s nice and everything but he’s a major jerk and ass. No matter what he does I will always think of Logan as that. However, Sam on the other hand was the guy I truly fell head over heels for, he was so sweet and every time we’re together, I find myself getting more lost in his eyes. How could not notice my love for him but he noticed Logan’s infatuation for me. He makes me mad with his stupidness.

“No” I gritted my teeth and just turned my attention to the window. The trees looked peaceful and I actually found myself relaxing more and more. Suddenly I felt someone hand brush my ear and blushed when I realized it was Sam putting music in my ear.

 “PAIGY!!!” I glanced in front of me where David was.

“Yes David honey” I said getting up and walking to the middle aisle with him.

“I have come to announce my love for you,” he said winking causing me to laugh.

“Why David honey what an unexpected turn of events” I said using my best acting skills which where horrible, but with David somehow I was an acting genius.

“Are you guys really going out?” someone yelled out from the back.

“Yes” he said

“No” I said at the exact same time. Time to think light on my feet.

“Why David honey, you want to announce our secret relationship to the world now?”  I asked looking shocked. Yep that was a good cover.

“Paigy for you I’d do anything” he said getting down on one knee and holding my hand.

“David honey I have to tell you something really important” I said looking down.  Time to win the best actress award for this performance.

“I’m pregnant,” I said rubbing my tummy. Everyone on the bus gasped. Yep they totally bout it.

“Doctor says it’s a boy. You’re gonna be a daddy, David,” I said and he quickly got up and spun me around which was hard to do on a bus.

“Time for the big finale” he whispered. I nodded and clutched my tummy.

“Oh no. I think I’m going into labor,” I gasped getting down on the floor.  After grunting and yelling, I finally pulled out my dolphin bracelet and smiled.

“It’s a boy…. I think,” I said holding him up. David looked at him and gasped along with the rest of the bus.  

“It’s a dolphin. How can that be? We’re both humans, unless…..” he pointed at me and I shook my head.

“Now don’t be so dramatic David maybe you’re half dolphin and never knew about it and that why your baby turned out to be a dolphin.” I said patting his head and looked over at Mr. M who looked like he was enjoying our whole scene.

“Do I look like I’m part dolphin? You cheated on me Paigy,” he said getting down to his knees and about to cry his eyes out.

“Why would I want to cheat on you? Sure dolphins are amazing but you’re my David, and I wouldn’t trade you for the world.” I said and kissed his cheek causing most of the girls on the bus to giggle and ‘Awww’ at our perfect moment.

“Name him after his daddy” Robbie called out. I nodded and brought the dolphin to my face.

“I shall name him after his father Jeremy Fisher Jr.” I said proudly. Everyone gasped and David looked at me and spun me around to look at him in the eyes.

“Jeremy fisher is my pet dolphin’s name, what are you trying to say? You were carrying my pet dolphin’s kid all along, and now you tried to pass it off as mine? I love you Paige,” he said and kissed my cheek. I giggled and nodded.  There was many cheering on the bus.

“And that is why we must break up” he said sadly. Then everyone got quiet.

“You want to leave me? But what about your son? You want him to grow up without a father?” I asked and got many agreements on my side.

“Why don’t you just tell that to your son? That you don’t want to be in his life anymore,” I yelled putting Jeremy Fisher in front of his face.

“I don’t want to be in the kid’s life” he said and went away to his seat. He got many boos from the audience and I was just left there with a dolphin child (bracelet).

“Now who will help me raise this child in both the world of humans and the world of the dolphins?” I asked aloud to the audience.

“I will do it” a voice spoke up. I looked over and saw Robbie get up and wink over at me.

“He is my nephew and I shall help you baby sister” he said carrying the dolphin like a baby.

“You’re only older by a little” I said and got up and laughed.

“Thanks for the entertainment Paige but please sit down now” Mr. M said with a smile on his face.

“No problemo, happy to be of service to the wonder and magical Mr. M” I said saluting him and bowed to the rest of the bus audience and got many cheers and clamps from my fellow peers. Just another typical day on the bus. I sat next to Sam and saw his smile and he high fived me. Everyone knew about David and my typical scenes. From when we where first coming here to the beach and on the ride here David proposed to me, that was a fun day.

“We’re here!!!” Mr. M yelled and we all rushed to the window only to see those amazing roller coasters.
