“Paige I’m going to work, you gonna be ok here by yourself” Robbie called rushing to the door with his white button up shirt and black pants that he had to wear as a waiter at Red Lobster.

“Yea I think so,” I called back not up away from my book. I was finally getting to the good part. Blah blah blah, the chick runs away with the bad guy. Blah blah blah, she falls in love with him. Blah blah blah. He promises to change, and they live happily ever after. Ahhh why do books have to be so fake now a day. Like that’ll ever happen. Hmmm… I’m all alone now. I grinned happily and ran over to the ihome docking station. Soon all that was heard was The Offspring.

“Deep inside your soul there’s a hole, you don’t wanna see. Every single day what you say, makes no sense to me,” I practically yelled jumping and dancing all over the house. I was finally going to be able to enjoy my day off and now worry about people at the park, or a certain kiss I saw. I'm just gonna worry about not falling from all this jumping around I’m doing. I jinxed myself because just then I tripped over a random game controller that Robbie and Logan forgot to put up.

“Why do I have a feeling that this is what you always do when you’re alone?” someone asked from the doorway. I looked over and saw Logan smirking as he looked down at me on the floor.

“Why does it seem like I’ve been seeing you around much more than usual?” I answered back getting up and skipped to my ihome to pause my music.

“Depends on whose definition of ‘usual’ we use. Because in my definition I’m not around enough.” He said smirking

“Touché” I replied and eyed him as he strode over to the couch, took a seat, and turned on the TV acting as if he lived here. Which in a way he does because he’s here all the time with Robbie or even with me. Although when he was around me, he used to be such a pain in the gluteus maximums. I inwardly smiled at my proud use of terminology.

I have to tell Mister Doctor Professor the Great Tucker about this in med class next time. I started laughing at his amazing name. It always made me laugh. Ever since the first day of school when Nathaly and I made it up. It just came to us one day when he kept getting mad at us for calling him Mr. Tucker. Apparently, that would mean that all those years in med school were for nothing. We started calling him Mister Doctor Professor Tucker and then one day he made me call him Mister Doctor Professor the Great Tucker just so he could give me the hall pass. The name just rather stuck with him, now mostly everyone in class calls him that, and I can’t say he doesn’t enjoy it, because he always lets out a little chuckle at the name.

“Paige, I’ll play you,” Logan said pulling me next to him and away from my thoughts. I looked up at the TV and grinned happily at the Super Smash Bros. menu, and quickly grabbed the controller to beat his ass in one of my favorite games.

“You’re on. However, I must warn you, I’m beast at this game. You won’t stand a chance against me,” I said laughing. We got to the character selection menu and each chose our people. I chose my favorite character, Link; Logan chose Kirby and I put on my game face ready to beat him.

“You really think you’re gonna win? Then why don’t we make this interesting?” he asked smirking with a knowing look in his eyes as he looked at me.

“Hmmm, I’m listening” I said with a smile at his proposition.

“One on One. 2 minute games.  Best 2 out of 3. Winner gets to make the loser do anything they want, no objections.” He said holding out his hand. I know I’m good. Hell, I beat Robbie all the time and I’m pretty sure Robbie is better than Logan is when it comes to video games. Maybe I could make Logan my slave now. I saw a plan formulate in my devious mind and smiled my favorite diabolic smile that usually sent tingles down people’s backs.
