I awoke slowly only then conscience of where I was. We were still on the bus and on our way to 6flags. I must have fallen asleep. Was I resting on something… or someone?  I looked over and noticed I was resting my head on Sam’s shoulder and from what it feels like he has his head on mine still sleeping. This was so comfortable I wish we could stay like this forever. I’ll just go back to sleep.

“Hey guys stop cuddling and wake up, we’re here,” Logan said mad kicking the back of our chairs. We both jumped in surprise. I looked over at Sam and he was blushing. He was actually blushing and he looked so adorable. My face probably looked the same, flustered and embarrassed, but I probably just looked stupid. I looked back at Logan and Robbie, and still found Robbie asleep along with the most of the bus, while Logan there sulking.  I looked over at Mr. M, and he was drifting off to sleep too.

“Hey Mr. M how long until we get there?” I asked.

“Well it’s barely 9 and we’ll be there at noon so you make the math, your in high school.” He said annoyed and went to sleep.

“Liar, Liar, pants on fire,” I said pointing an accusing finger at Logan while yawning.

“I thought we were there already,” he said smirking with a mischievous sparkle in his eyes. I rolled my eyes and just sat back down.

“Just let it go Paige. Here let’s just listen to music,” Sammy said putting the ear bud in my ear. His touch felt amazing. Soon were listening to “Falling in love at a coffee shop by Landon Pigg”. That song really made me think of how I felt about Sammy and everything. Isn’t that great? Did you sense my sarcasm? He liked that song because of the guitar part and he can actually play it, while I like it because of the lyrics. He just had to play that song with me here, ignoring that fact I actually started to sing it.

“I think that possibly, maybe I've fallen for you, yes there's a chance, that I've fallen quite hard over you” I sang thinking of Sammy and finally deciding to tell him how I feel.

“Sammy, Ummm what if I told you that I know someone who likes you the same way you like Sky?” I asked nervously messing with my fingers. When I didn’t get a respond, I glanced over at him. Next to me, Sammy was asleep again. Maybe it just wasn’t meant to be, and this just the universe’s way of telling me to stop before I get hurt. I tried to go back to sleep but whenever I put my head on Sam’s shoulder, I would get a kick to the back of my chair from a random stranger *cough* Logan *cough*

“Would you quit it already? I’m trying to go to sleep,” I whispered yelled at him after the twentieth time.

“No” was all he said with a smirk and chuckling at my expression. I got up from my seat hating that I had to leave Sammy and went to the seat next to my other best friend David, who just so happened to be gay but nobody knew except me.

“Awww Paigy dear. Get over here and give me a hug,” he said with his arms stretched towards me like a little kid. I jumped into his arms and gave him the biggest hug ever.

“David, you’re so lovable and squishy. I love you David,” I said kissing his cheek.

“I love you too Paige,” he said smiling

“But I wanna go to sleep,” he said. I frowned and he put me down. I glanced over at where he was sitting with a perfect view of Kyle and Frankie. No wonder he wanted to sleep there.

“Fine then, but don’t get too carried away,” I said with a final kiss on his cheek and went away to an empty seat, so much for sitting with David. I love David with my entire heart butt not even he knows about my crush on Sam and I really don’t want to tell anyone about it. It wasn’t long before Logan came next to me.

“What the hell do you want?” I hissed at him with so much venom he actually cringed away.

“I just wanna talk,” he said putting his hand up in surrender. I just sighed and nodded for him to continue, but when he didn’t, I looked over at him.

“What’s on your mind Logan?” I said clearly seeing his different facial expression. He looked deep in thought and that wasn’t like him.

“Paige, would you consider me your friend?” he asked me. I thought about it for a while. We barely ever talked and the only time he was nice to me was on the football game and just recently here at the trip, but would I consider him a friend?

“Ummm, yea kind of I guess. Why?”

“You like Sam,” he stated, it wasn’t even a question just more of an answer. I quickly shook my head.

“No. I don’t like him. We’re just friends. He’s like a brother to me and I’m like a sister to him.” I said back on the outside looking confident in my answer but in the inside it hurt to say those words.

“Fine then,” he said yawning and pulling me closer.

“What are you doing?” I asked blushing at his closeness.

“I’m sleepy and I’m going to go to sleep with my friend here,” he stated and rested his head on my shoulder causing me to tense up. I tried to move away but he just pulled me back and after many tries, I just gave up.

“Just go to sleep Paige. Didn’t you say that’s what you wanted to do,” he said, making me speechless. He noticed that and smirked. He got me. I relaxed a bit knowing that I was fine, and sleepy. I closed my eyes and went to sleep resting my head on top of his.
