We've been in Miami a few days now. We've met some cool people Jen Mayan Christi and a couple more of their friends. Jazmyn and I are actually getting dressed to go hang out with them. I wouldn't think I would make friends out here but they're a really cool clique.

"Hay can I wear your black earrings?" Jazmyn asked coming out the bathroom.

"Yea they're on the stand in that white bag"

"You guys looking cute where you headed too?" Karen came in

"Going to get some ice cream with Jen and to the beach"

"You'll be out back or further down"

"More than likely outback not trying to go to far and I don't know the city"

"I get it , well have fun we're staying in tonight taking care of business and keeping the kids occupied"

"Ok see ya later" I smiled

Now the finishing touches on my outfit. My shoes. I think I'll wear the sandals I just got. They're simple beige strap on sandals. My outfit isn't flashy either. It's a basic white crop top and high waist blue jean shorts with studs on them. I don't want to dress up for the beach.

It was turning seven and we're suppose to meet Jen at the ice cream shop at seven fifteen. She texted me five minutes ago and I said we were leaving out, but Jazmyn was being Jazmyn taking seventy hours on her hair. I think she like Mayon. Or whatever his name is. She can't keep getting numbers and she like Ray. But it's her decisions not mine.

"Well I'm ready lets go"

"Finally"

"Kai don't start"

"Oh please" I smiled my big front teeth at her, gosh I love this girl.

We were walking up to the ice cream place and seem Jen and her friends already sitting at a booth. She's really pretty. She has like this mocha skin color and this blonde shoulder length hair skinny but short , Well shorter than me, I just love her! She's so friendly and up spirit. Any who we walked in the door and the bell rang from us entering.

"Hi guys" Jen waved her hand over to us with her big white teeth flashing a smile.

"Hey Jen" Jazmyn said first

"Hey Gal" I hugged her sitting next to her

"So what's been up?" She asked

"Nothing much we've been shopping a little exploring the neighborhood just getting familiar with the area"

"That's dope you should've called me I would've showed you around"

"I didn't even think about it" I laughed a little

"Well we were waiting for you guys so we can order so look on the menu they have the best vanilla shakes and some really good strawberry and cookie dough ice cream you should try it"

"Really? Mmmmh"

"Aye Milo we're ready now" Jen called to the waiter

"I'll be there in a second" he called back

"Hurry up"

"Don't rush me"

"You know him or some?" Jazmyn ghetto self asked being nosy.

"Yea that's my big brother"

"Ohhhh I'm sure like he's just talking mad smack"

"Smack?" Jen said confused

"Slang for talking alot of stuff"

"We learn some new everyday"

"Sure does" I peeped in
