When I Found You , You Saved Me

Chapter 35

This tour has been incredible. Traveling all over the world was so exciting and opportunities are just rolling through our emails. Everyday was a new adventure with different foods, different sceneries, new people, supporters, and a lot more. I can truly say that this tour has taught me a lot. Also I'm glad it's over because it can get stressful and hectic on the road. The team and staff have been nothing but nice to Jazmyn and I. I wish we could have them when we go off on our own.

Oh did I forget to tell you guys? Jazmyn and I are our own duo now. No more back up dancing with the boys. We're writing our own music, during the choreography process we're making up most of the dances, we have a personal stylist who loves our ideas, and we kept Kin! We actually have a show tonight and I'm very nervous to see how many supporters we'll have in the crowd. I know a lot of people support us via social media but how many will actually buy a ticket to our very first show tonight on our own? Thoughts just keep rambling in my head I need some distractions.

"Jazmyn where are you?" I called out of my room while sitting at the vanity curling my hair.

"In the kitchen! You hungry?"

"Starving!"

"Good because I made you homemade French toast with turkey bacon, a blueberry muffin, fruit, and orange juice." She came in the room with a tray.

"Aren't you the perfect little house wife."

"Oh don't start that Kai."

"Thank you I appreciate it doll-face"

"Bleh. Enjoy your food."

"I shall."

"Did you find out what we're wearing tonight?"

"No, I haven't received any calls or text today. Kin isn't back yet?"

"No, I haven't received any calls or text from anybody today either."

"Mm that's odd."

"Feel like my phone isn't working because I am always on it."

"Exactly. Maybe it's good we have a break from our phones right now enjoy our quiet breakfast time."

"Ooo I'm loving this improved you. You've been like a hippie, gypsy or something lately."

"I'm just becoming me."

"Well I like you anyway you are my dear."

"Thanks little muffin."

"You know I can't be quiet right?" We both started to laugh.

"Yes I do know. You can talk Jazmyn."

We talked for a hour letting our late breakfast digest. After talking I tweeted asking who would be coming to the show tonight. Instead of waiting desperately I just went ahead and took my shower while my pin curls were in tack so I wouldn't mess them up later.

When I got out Kin was back and so were our outfits for tonight. I want to see them soooo bad but I didn't peek I just kept walking to my room.

"Hey fresh face. You want to see the outfits?" Kin asked while eating what was left of Jazmyns cooking.

"Not yet. I'm so excited to look at it though."

"Go lotion up and check Twitter! We'll check them out later!"

Now I know you're probably thinking 'did they have dress rehearsals? They should know what they're wearing'. Well we did pick our favorite outfits and they needed alterations so we don't know exactly what it looks like now. Is that crazy? Should we have practiced in them last week for this week? Whatever I'm not going to stress over the outfits. Instead I need to find my phone.

"Jazmyn you seen my phone?" I called to her while applying my everyday oils and fragrance.

"Oh yeah I borrowed it for music, it's charging don't worry!" She yelled back.

"Thanks for stealing it." I laughed.

"Any time my dear."

Well since she has my phone I decided to check Twitter on my computer. Instantly I'm filled with shock and almost tears, there are so many people responding saying they'll be at the show tonight. With all this excitement I just went ahead and retweeted everyone and responded to others. With all of these responses I'm so ready to see how many people actually show up.

"GUYS!! OMG!! GIRLS" Kin yelled from the kitchen we both ran out.

"What happened??!" Jazmyn asked with one sock on and half a head done. I tried my hardest not to laugh at her but it's hilarious.

"You won't believe what we did!" She smiled jumping up and down.

"What? What did we do?" I ask so impatient now.

"Sold out our very first show!"

I fell to my knees and cried my eyes out. Our very first show!? How sick is that!! Like really this is my dream that has finally come true! Jazmyn is jumping up and down screaming "ah omg how no way". Kin is also in happy tears because she's been going through this with us this entire time. It's been sort of hard with just three girls doing everything and us being under age with school. But look at us now a sold out concert. I wiped my face and stood hugging Jazmyn.

"I'm so glad you're my bestfriend" She cried in my ear.

"Same here." I felt Kin join the hug. "Thank you Kin for everything!"

"Yeah thank you Kin we couldn't have done this without you seriously. You're the best guardian, manager, planner ever."

"Anything for you girls you're the best little sisters I never asked for. Now let's get ready for our first show. We have to make the most of it ladies."

"Kin how many tickets did we sell?" Jazmyn asked wiping her face.

"Um I think it said 600+ so that's a lot of people to impress ladies."

"600 people want to see our first performance? WOW! This is amazing I only expected like 100 to sell."

"Well let's dream big and make it happen ladies. Any thing is possible."

I'm so in shock I just couldn't talk instead I skipped to my room with a smile.

After all the excitement we packed up and headed to sound check. Everything went well. Jazmyn sounds great, I just love her voice. She sings so beautifully, sometimes I stop singing and let her take over because she really feels it. Some songs I'll hear her stop and she'd let me sing which makes me feel good because she thinks I'm doing pretty well my self.

The venue looks great. There are tables and standing areas in the front. Then there's this like long couch thing towards the back. It's like a big lounge setting with lights hanging from the ceiling set low. Makes you feel like a indie or hippie with all the small decorations and lightings. Especially since we have a guitarist with our special surprise song at the end.

"Ladies it's time!" Kin called us to the dressing room.

"We're finally doing this." Jazmyn rubbed her hands on her legs as we approached our dressing room.

"Unbelievable right?"

"Very. Feels like I'm dreaming. I'm getting nervous."

"Jazmyn chill. It'll be ok. It's like when we performed with the boys."

"You know it's not the same. Now it's about us! A whole year later!"

"You're right! I just want you to calm down ok?"

I knew she was right I just didn't want to become as nervous as she is.

Our DJ introduced us.
"...Alright alright alright everybody! I want you to give it up for my girls Kai and Jazmyne!!"

We took the stage and every nerve disappeared. My little brother was in the crowd and it took everything in me to not jump into it to grab him. So many familiar faces and familiar feelings, The stage felt like home. I've never felt anything like this before.

Honestly When I found music it saved me completely. There's no place I'd rather be than here with my best friend.
