When I Found You , You Saved Me

Chapter 28

Last Day in Atlanta and early release at school. My body is aching I just want to stay in bed, but I have things to do. I decided to look extremely cute since it is our last day at Milton High and the weather was warming up since it was the first day of summer. I shopped in Miami and Cali, So I'm going to wear something from that pile.

I put on my All white Levi high waist shorts, a sunflower leotard tank, and black Steve Madden boots. My hairstyle is wand curls flowing over my shoulders with a yellow tie around it. I think this is my all time favorite outfit now haha. I didn't have on alot of jewelry just my black watch and bow earrings, and of course my purple backpack! I stashed my vans in there just incase I need to change my shoes.

Un-expectingly, Jazmyn and I dressed alike. Again. She had on dark jean high waist shorts and a black flowery leotard, with black biker boots. Seems like she'd wear what I have on and i'd wear what she had on but. It doesn't matter.

"I'm not changing" she said apply oil to her natural curls when she saw me.

"Do I ever?" I grabbed my phone and went down stairs with my BFF behind me.

"What time you guys get out?" Kin asked hold the keys to Karens white Audi.

"11:45, why?" I answered biting a granola bar.

"I have to pick you up cause your car is being shipped before us."

"Oh yea right I forgot"

"Ready?"

"Yea" we said in unison.

We pulled up to the school, people were staring at the car watching to see who got out. She stopped and we hopped out.

"See ya later Kin"

"Later guys"

"Hey Kin" I heard Rob and Jay behind me.

"Hey Rob , Hi Jay last day I see you sadly" she poked out her bottom lip.

"I know sadly" rob pouted with her.

"I have some things to do before I pick them up so I'll catch you at 11:45?"

"You will" they smiled.

"Dude who was that?" James asked.

"Why you're not getting her, she's mine" Rob said putting his arms around me and Jazmyn shoulder."So are they"

We just laughed and walked away. How I'll miss Rob.

I stopped by the office to talked to ms chatman.

"Hello hello"

"Hi Ms. Chatmen"

She looked up at me "Oh arent we looking cute today?, what's up going on a date?"

"Haha no, it's my last day in Atlanta, I'm moving to Cali for my career"

"No way! you got it??? You're going to be a star?"

"Yea well Jazmyn too, we're back up dancers and opening acts for this group"

"No way! no way! no way! Im so happy for you guys , sadly I may not see you everyday I'm going to miss you alot you were a big help around here"

"I'm going to miss you too" I smiled it's a bitter sweet moment. I'm happy I'm leaving to finally live my dream but what I haven't realized is even through my downs my life is here in Atlanta my brother my friends my favorite staff member&& the family that took us in after my parents left. Slowly taking a breather I feel my face burning causing tears to form.

"Honey don't cry! I'll be fine don't worry" she got up coming over wrapping her arm around my shoulder.

I smiled "Im not going to cry! besides you're nothing to cry over"

"Oh is that so missy"

"Oh yea big time" we hugged eachother.

"I'll see you on my big screen Kai and your little friend too let me know when you're in Atlanta, I have to see you"

"Of course, Bye Ms.Chatmen"

"Goodbye LaKai"

With that I left out the office and down to the gym area to find my friends. Man what a goodbye.

"Im not waiting forever" Kin said as she blew the horn. Rob was holding Jazmyn and I cause he didn't want us to go.

"I'm not letting them go! these are my Bestfriends!"

"Well your Bestfriends have careers to attend to and they won't have one if you don't let them go!"

"Let me go Robert!" Jazmyn bit his finger.

"Ouch! You bug" He let both of us go to hold his finger.

"Well I'll miss you guys" Jay hugged Jazmyn then me. "Especially you Kai" he whispered as he pulled me in.

"Yea I guess" I laughed hugging him back. We shared some times, but it's best we move on.

"We'll be back! don't miss us to much" Jazmyn said as we got in the car.

We waved the guys goodbye. I could feel tears forming and I see Jazmyn in the back turning red. This where we grew up, this is where we met and everything that could happen to us happened. Do I really want to leave? Yes! No second guessing Kai, This is your dream.

•The House•

"You got everything?" Kin asked, as we packed the last few items up. My room looks like it did when I first moved in except with my dresser and TV.

"Yea I think so" Jazmyn replied as we put the last of our shoes in a bin.

"Ok as soon as we finish we need to head back to LA"

"Ok Let me just talk to my brother" she nodded and I went to his room.

"Hi Ki, what you doing?"

"I don't want to be alone" he looked up and his face was wet and Red from crying. Instantly I picked him up and held him close on my lap.

"If you don't want me to leave I won't" I crooked out realizing I started crying.

"No, this is your dream I want you to be happy"

"It's all up to you little bro, I won't leave if you don't want me to, I made a promise with you and I don't break them"

"You can leave, it's for the both of us if you make it first I know you'll come back and get me to be up next"

"I'll try and call every time I can, it'll be in my schedule to call you and FaceTime you ok?" I wiped his face with my hands. He means the world to me. "You won't be alone"

"Ok everyday?"

"Everyday!"

"Ok you can leave now tell Jazmyn bye too"

"I will"

We laid on his bed as I rubbed his head. I told him about the big money mom and Dad left us, I put most of it in the back of his closet so no one would know. Putting this in the bank could cause a lot if trouble. I had pack some for myself. Hot weather makes you want to shop for shorts and swimsuits. Especially things for my little brother. Managing it wouldn't be a problem, he'll forget it and might not ever touch it. Saves us a few problems. I wish I could take him with me but taking him everywhere could be alot of stress. Thoughts that run my mind.
