When I Found You , You Saved Me

Chapter 20

The night before was a blast! I've been to parties and cookout, but that one was the best beach cookout yet. We were out there until twelve something, went in the house and come back out until almost four in the morning hanging with Jen and Christi. They're some really cool people. Sadly today was the last day in Miami and I don't know when we're coming back. On the bright side we get to hang with the guys tomorrow in Cali. Before we leave tonight Karen said we could hang today and shop if we wanted because we might not have much free time after we sign off on our contract. With that being said we got dress.

"Karen" I called coming down the stairs with Jazmyn behind me.

"Yea?"

"What are you guys doing today?"

"Um going down to my store and shopping on the avenue."

"Well we were too so we all might as well go together"

"You guys ready we were leaving out now"

"Yea we're ready"

"Ok let's go"

We left out the house and hopped in the car. We were riding past someone and I heard the song Mayon was playing yesterday. Good thing we were at the red light.

"Hey excuse me"

"Yea ? The driver looked over"

"Can you tell me who that song is by?"

"Oh yea of course , this is a Jaden Smith song from his cool cafe mixtape."

"Thanks alot" I shot a smile

"You're welcome"

When we get home I have to get his mixtape. I've heard some songs and downloaded a couple but not this one. I'm loving his music.

We arrived on avenue at her store. We're parked in the back so I'm not sure if its dope or not. I put Ki on my back when we got out the car, we haven't spent much time together. Everyone followed Karen to the back door that revealed the store. We walked over boxes and Wrapping , they need to clean up around here. Finally we made it to the front. When I say it was dope I mean it's MAD DOPE! Her clothes and designs are amazing , the shoes , pants shirts jackets hats! It was all just DOPE! I mean I can't think of a better word.

"I see someone's loving it they can't even hear their own brother asking to be let go" I snapped out of my day dreaming.

"Oh yea I love it!, sorry Ki" I let him go.

"You want something out of here or go to other stores?"

"From here first" I started walking over to the jeans. They were high waist of course I grabbed my size. Karen was talking to the employees and Jazmyn was looking for her own things. Her designs on these shirts was so creative and different. These patters were like tribal wear or crop tops, I grabbed one if those also. Then that's when I seem the most adorable swim suit in history! It was an American flag top and striped bottom with a cute white bow on the back. I got that too.

"I'm done!" I walked over to the cash register.

"So am I" Jazmyn walked over.

"They just need bags I'll pay for it tomorrow" Karen sister said.

"Oh no way I'll buy it!" I spoke up.

"No no family doesn't and plus we want you guys to model for us so keep it"

"Alright thanks alot T."

"No problem" she smiled.

"Alright let's shop on this avenue" Karen grabbed the kids hands and we walked out the store with our bags from iMindDesigns. Cool name right?

We shopped for hours but didn't get much at all. We've been threw over fifteen to twenty stores and probably bought six things. Crazy right. But Im saving for Cali and I don't like spending every dime so no complaints over here.

"I'm hungry!" Kelsie spoke for all of us , I haven't ate a thing all day now I think about it.

"Yea us too" Jazmyn said

"It's some restaurants on north avenue want to ride down the block?" Karen said

"Yea!!"

We walked back to the car and drove down the street.

We gasped "FIVE GUYS" I looked at Jazmym she looked at me. We always speak at the same time. High five it.

"That's what everybody wants?" Karen asked

"What's five guys?" Ki asked.

"The good burgers and stuff be there Ki" I told him

"Yea I want five guys"

"Yea I want five guys" Kelsie said too

And guess where we're eating. Five Guys!!!
