It's Friday night and the game is going on. It's second quarter and we're 2points behind.

I haven't seen Jay All day. I looked around , there he was walking to the court switching spots with Vonte. They slapped hands and Jay started the game he was so smooth on the court.

"Hay Kai you see Jay ?" Jazmyn asked quietly

"Yea look at him go , I didn't know he played this good!" I replied

"Me either , look at John he's a pretty good player too"

I smirked "Jazmyn has a crush!"

"No I don't! Now shhhh! I'm watching him play"

I laughed and turned around to finish watching the game.

It was now a few seconds left in the game and Jay caught the rebound ran to our side and shot a nice 3 pointer leading us 5points ahead. The buzzer went off and the team ran off the court for half time. We were excited and the dance team stood up.

Some guy from our school spoke into the mic "Did you guys see the awesomeness Jayson Gray just brung to the table?" The crowd cheered

"Now lets bring up the CHEERLEADERSSS!" the cheer team stood and walked on the court with their leader Adria.  

Ew.why did I dislike her so much? Mmh who knows oh well.

WE ARE THE MILTON MONROE'S ! The cheer squad cheered and came off.

"Man those girls scream kind of loud , give it up for them" the boy laughed speaking into the mic again

"Now lets get this dance team out here I can't wait to watch this give it up for them Yal!" He laughed and we all walked to our formation

We finished it and I knew we had killed every move it was just everything in me that let out and the teams emotions what made it so great. The next song came on legit by nicki an Ciara.

Ciara sang and Nicki rapped. We put our all in those 2 songs and it was everything. We stopped and the crowd cheered the team smiled and we walked back to the mats we were sitting on.

"You thought that was good huh?" Adria said behind me

I turned around " I thought it was great only haters would think otherwise" I said smirking

"I want to battle , cheer against dance me against you" she spoke

"Ok , let's go!" I said happily " You first"

She walked to the middle and I went to the mic. I spoke "This battle is so on"

She did her little regular Milton High cheer. Blah blah Milton Monroe's !

I don't think I'm all that but her its just I can't take it she make cheerleaders look bad , girls in our school cant stand the way she act , what's her problem? I don't know and I am really not trying to find out.

She finished up and I went to plug my song in. I walked to the middle floor and laid down. The crowd started laughing and I just continued. My song Ellie Goulding High For This started playing.

This is my all time favorite song and I just let everything out into this dance. I stood up straight and walked to my seat like nothing happened. The team just hugged me and I smiled hugging them back. The crowd was cheering so loud it was like a riot. I was finally happy.

The game was ending and Jayson had a few seconds to shoot this last 3 pointer and we win the game. The crowd scream 3...2...1 ! Buzz and the shot went in the basket.

"Ahhhhh we won Kai OMG" Jazmyn screeched

"I know Jazmyn! I know!" We yelled and hugged each other and Jayson came running to us and picked me up.

"Kai we won!" he yelled swinging me around

" I know Jay! You was scoring 3s left to right" I said back as he put me down

"The team said its a party at John house and I was wondering if you and Jazmyn wanted to come?"

"Yea of course!"

"Great I'll meet you guys there"

"Ok see you in a bit"

I turned to Jazmyn. "We're going to Johns party" I said grabbing my bag

"WHAT? WHEN?!"

"If you come on and change in about 20 mins"

She was so shocked she just followed me with our things in hand. We got to our changing room. I change into a light blue crop top black High waist skinny pants and black Keds as my shoes. Jazmyn wore a red half top with no sleeves same black pants and shoes. I wore my hair down with a side fringe and straight. Jazmyns hair was in curls down with a fringe also , her hair is light brown mines is black.

We grabbed our things and pulled on some jackets and left the building.
