When I Found You , You Saved Me

Chapter 26

It's been a month since we've signed the contract and Karen told me everything. We had talked it through and aren't on the best terms , but close enough. Chres found out and was upset that his mom was trying to hook him up with people she don't even know. We had stop talking for a few days but then started back. We do have work to do together couldn't ignore him forever. Jazmyn and Ray were on a higher level in their relationship, I say they're dating but they keep denying it. Whatever. Oh did I mention we now live in California. Well almost. Well me and Jazmyn. Karen and the rest went back to Atlanta , We're going back tonight to pack up and be back here. They said something about me Jazmyn & Kin were going to have our own condo. SWEET! I've never been happier!

"Flight 7A Atlanta boarding" that was our cue to get going to the gates before we were left behind.

"Come on guys lets get this over with" Kin said as we walked to board the plane. She has to go everywhere with us because we're minors. Yea Yea.

"My legs are tired uhhh" Jazmyn groaned.

"Shutup and let's get back home"


I fell asleep as soon as we got on the plane. Really don't remember how many hours it took to get back to Atlanta but I slept the whole time.


•Atlanta• 3 a.m.

The time here is three hours ahead of LA time. I was totally off with my sleeping schedule. From Miami to LA then Atlanta then back to LA. Kind of messed up right? Even though Atlanta and Miami has the same time, still kind of messed up.

"Where's my suitcase?" Kin asked looking around the belt line for her luggage.

"What color was it again?" I asked looking around.

"It's a England flag or whatever" she said reaching over a big black bag to see if it was under there. Nope.

"Wait is that it?" Jazmyn pointed to the suitcase sitting on the side if the belt. Why was it on the side?

"I'm not touching that unless security checks it" , "Excuse me sir" she waved at the man.

"Yes ma'am is there a problem"

"My suitcase that one right there" she pointed at it" I didn't take it off the belt and I don't want to touch it incase someone tried to set a bomb on me"

"Thank you for not touching it I will check it"

"Thank you"

He walked over to it and looked around it first without touching it. We were told to clear the area incase there were any problems with it.

"There's a ticking here" a suited man said looking behind the suitcase as we stood behind the doors looking in. He kicked the suitcase away from them it was a tiny bomb on the floor. Like the ones kids make out of cars and plastic. That. They searched through her suitcase nothing was there and FINALLY we were on our way home!


Unlocking the door , we quietly entered its about four in the morning now and in a hour Jazmyn and I have to get ready for school this is our last week. We all went up to my room, ugh what a mess I left here. Haven't been here in like a month or more. So i got right to business.

"Jazmyn it's a bin in the closet put all your dirty clothes or stuff that need washing in it I'm doing mine first"

"I'll do it tomorrow I really just want to get in a bed"

"Where's the bathroom" kin asked

"Mines right there and it's one down the hall"

"Ok I'll go down the hall seems Jazmyn may go in there haha"

I laughed with her. Grabbing all the clothes and covers off the floor , we walked out the room I showed her the bathroom as I was going downstairs for laundry. Karens light was on and I heard Karina's voice.

"Hey we're back" I peeped in seeing them two working.

"Oh good , you have school in a few hours go get some sleep"

"I've got laundry first"

"Oh ok but we have a surprise for you before you leave for school"

"Ok see you then" I went in and did everything and headed upstairs back to my room.

Jazmyn was laid on the floor and Kin was brushing her curls. I placed clean spreads on my bed and made it up. Jazmyn took a shower as I finished my room.

"Here you go sleep where ever you want to" I handed Kin a blanket and pillow.

"The window ?"

"Fine with me"

Jazmyn came out with wet hair and thought she was going to get in my bed.

"Ohhh no! Put on a cap , I just fixed my bed"

"Uhhh whatever"

Finally was my turn to take a shower. I turned on some soft music ,The Weeknd, and handled my business.
When I got out I brushed my hair and put on a cap it was still wet. Leaving the music playing in the bathroom , put on some shorts and a Tshirt and fell straight to sleep. What a life.


•Morning•

I felt something plummet on me.

"Ouch" I winced it pain that hurt my side.

"Oh Kai you're back I missed you so much! Did you have fun in California? Are you staying here for a while huh? Kai wake up!" It was Ki'Lyn of course. So I opened my eyes.

"Hi baby brother, yes and yes" he was in uniform already. Oh snap uniform.. school! I forgot! "Did you go to school already?"

"No we're leaving in 10 minutes"

"Great I've got five minute to get ready, I'll see you later ok"

"Ok see ya" he kissed me and walked out.

I slapped Jazmyn. "Get up we got to go."

"Ok ok dang"

Shutting off the music, also started my routine. Since I just took a shower a hour or two ago I'm clean. I'm not changing clothes, to comfortable so I just put on my Adidas flip flops.

"Kai , Jazmyn we have a something for you" I heard Karina say coming in my room. I came out the closet and Jazmyn came out the bathroom.

"What is it?"

She unraveled the bag revealing two beautiful outfits.

"No way! , You made this??" I said as she past me one.


"Yea I made the bottoms Karen did the tops, one of our newest looks that haven't hit stores yet and we want you guys to wear them today"

"Oh definitely!"

We changed and left for school. Fashionable late? Yes, yes we are. Kin stayed at the house she had things to complete and schedule for us.

I was at my locker for once in a life time packing things in a bag to take to my car.

"Hey Kai!" I heard someone call me as I turned around and looked it was Rob.

"Rob hi" I smiled really hard happy to see him.

"So are you staying here?"

"Um no I'm leaving and I don't think I'm coming back to soon"

"Well I'm glad you're living your dreams"

"Yea it's amazing doing this already"

"So when are you leaving?"

"Three days well two more"

"No way! I thought you'd be here for me the rest of the year!" "

"Yea but life calls"

"I understand I'm extremely Happy for you though"

It's sad to see him like this. Robs such a good friend , I couldn't do anything but hug him. He was a little caught by my gesture and hugged me back.

"I'll miss you Rob"

"I'll miss you too Kai"

"So I have 3 days what you want to do?"

"I'll come over later and you can tell me about your trip to Miami"

"Who told you....Jay?"

"Jazmyn, Jay said you were in Cali"

"Of course Haha but deal! We can order food too, just make sure you let me know when you're on your way"

"Will do but I have to head to the office I'll catch ya later Kai"

"Deuces" I smiled chucking up my peace signs.

By the end of our conversation I was done packing my few items and was heading for the door. Then of course the little crew wants to start. Not TODAY!

"Well look who finally decided to show up"

"What do you want Adria" I said in a completely annoyed way.

"Seems to me you're running away, what's the bag for"

"What part of my question do you not understand?"

"Kai mmm how was your trip? Jay told us you were in Cali how'd YOU get there?"

"Takes talent, not sex abilities"

"Ha what you say to me?" she stepped closer.

"You heard me"

"Better watch it or-"

"Or WHAT Adria? mm? you going to claw me? pinched me? cheer on my foot? you thought that you were but it's not going to happen I have some things to do and work to catch up on goodbye" I brushed past her bumping her shoulder, when she grabbed my wrist.Instantly I dropped my bag my fist almost to her face when security grabbed it.

"Is there a problem here ladies?"

"Yea she's trying to punch me!" Adria tried to kiss up.

"Is that so miss Adria? , I'Ll let you know now I saw the whole thing, Kai you can continue out the door be back in five minutes and you can follow me to the office"

"But-"

"Shut it"

A smirk was formed on my lips as I got my bag headed to my trunk. I put everything in and came right back in the school to finish some work. The library was full of loud irritating kids that do not listen so I went to the study hall where no one usually is. Before I entered I peeped in the room window and seen Jazmyn, Rob and of course Jay. Hopefully I can finish some work.

"Seems like a full house" I said walking in the door.

"Thank God you're here can you please help me with this math!" Jazmyn said placing her hands to her head.

"What about these two?"

"What about them?"

"Never mind which ones?"

"All of them" I just laughed and sat next to her as we started on her math. We'll be in here all day.





If you were wondering, yes me and Jay actually got along.

"I'm so tired of looking at work I'll finish later!" Jazmyn groaned as we sat on the floor of my room finishing the last two worksheets.

"It's the last thing we have to complete come on"

"I agree with Jazmyn, it's time for a break" Rob said as he stood up to stretch. "Plus i want to hear all about Miami"

"Of course you do, I'm going to finish my work then I'll tell you"

"How long it's going to take?"

I ignored him.

Work complete in two minutes.

"I'm done now let's get food I'm starving."

We walked downstairs and Kin was coming through the door with a pan.

"Oh thanks for the help"

"You're welcome" Jazmyn smiled walking to the kitchen. Rob grabbed the pan from her hand.

"Thanks"

"What's in the pan" I asked sitting at the counter.

"Chicken from Karina"

"Sounds so good right now ,what's with it?"

"Green beans and potato, you guys have to change up your eating habits to more healthier choices since you'll be dancing alot"

"Fine by me"

"Starting with no pop"

"What? why not!" Jazmyn said whining

"Because that's what's written on my job orders"

"Kai's the only happy one she don't drink it"

"Great she's good we need to work on you"

"After I eat I'm starving!"

"Aren't we all"

We cleaned up for dinner. I made my brother and Kelsies plate then mine. Couldn't wait to taste this delicious meal and share our amazing trip with Rob.
