Last night set my mood on a whole nother level. Like now my feelings have changed. Karen told me to come in her room last night and , and. Let me just replay what happened for you.

*Last Night*

"Hey Karen you wanted to see me?" I walked out of the washroom pulling down my t-shirt.

"Yea uhh sit down" she patted the bed.

"Ok um" Why she acting weird.

"So you've been with us for a minute and I wanted to explain or clear up some things"

"I'm listening"

"Your parents did leave for a good reason for you and Ki's protection, plus themselves protection"

"I know"

"But what was going to happen was you were going to be put in a adoption home and they would've found you and made you come to India and stay which your parents didn't want to happen , I seen your mom shopping for their return to India and we started talking haven't seen her in years and she started telling me what was going on and telling me about sending you guys away to be safe and she thought about me being alone since Chres was always on the road, that's when I got a thought-"

"Where are you going with this?"

*Chres POV*

"Aye why you looking ugly?" Ray came in laughing grabbing the controller to the game.

"Nah that's you!"

"Wassup bro?"

"My mom wanted talk to Kai"

"About?"

"How I know I ain't there"

"You always smiling like a dumb nigga thought you was worried"

"Well I heard smiling makes the heart better"

*Kai POV"

I left my phone on the sink charging. I could hear it vibrating over and over again but what was on my mind was the fact Karen basically told me she adopted my brother and kept me because her heart said I was meant for her son. Was I broken? I don't know. Am I upset? I think I am. That is dirty work.

"Kai ? Kai?" Karen waved her fingers in front of me. "Are you ok?"

"No , you just told me you kept me because you wanted me to be with your son! Why on earth would I be ok?? I hate fakers , I don't know if you're even trust worthy of keeping my brother while I'm gone. This is madness this is freakin crazy!"

"No I got you because your parents were leaving and I don't want you to have to go through those horrible things! When you arrived to my home I felt you were right for my son! that's what came into my heart and I wanted to tell you now so when the future came you'd be happy about what decisions you make , you don't have to date my son but things have been telling me otherwise , if you have anything else to say I'll be right here doing work , if you don't want to verbally speak you can always email me goodnight" With that I grabbed my phone and left her room. Jazmyn asked me what was wrong but I ignored her plugged in my headphones and silently cried. For what? I don't know...
