A/N: Hey. It's Vanessa. This is the last part of the date. Hope you enjoy it!

He loved Astrid, he knew he did. So, what was he doing? Hiccup immediately pushed Heather away from him. Not too hard that it would hurt her, but hard enough for Heather to understand that it wasn't what he wanted. Hiccup's push was taken to her off guard and as Hiccup looked up at her, she seemed really embarrassed.

"I'm sorry Heather. I wasn't expecting that," Hiccup said quietly, looking down. He was also so embarrassed and mortified that he couldn't even face her. He didn't have to let himself see the embarrassed look on Heather's face to feel the heavy guilt on him as if it were a ton of bricks. His big mistake donned on him with much force.

Hiccup started pacing back and and forth as he covered his face and said, "Oh my god. I can't believe this is happening—that this happened! How am I going to tell Astrid?"

"Hiccup, why do you need to tell—" Heather cut herself off mid-sentence and wave a realization came over her. She approached Hiccup again and softly said, "You're dating Astrid, aren't you."

Hiccup nodded weakly. "This wasn't suppose to happen like this! It wasn't suppose to go this far!" Hiccup screamed angrily. He was angry at himself for jumping head first into an ocean of problems. He started this problem—not Heather. Him. His fault. His failure.

"What wasn't meant to far?" Heather asked but she half knew the answer to her question already. She backed away from him and said, "You are playing a risky game, Hiccup. You are a coward and you need to figure. Things. Out." She didn't look back as she ran as fast and as far as possible from him.

Hiccup was speechless. He dug himself a deep hole and he wanted to crawl into the hole and never come out. He hurt Heather and Astrid and he didn't know what to do. He had so many more questions than before. How could he do this to Heather? What will happen between him and Heather? How could he do this to Astrid, his own girlfriend?  What will happen after? How will he tell Astrid? How will she react?

A few of minutes after Heather's departure, Hiccup decided that it would be a good idea to take a walk around Berk. It was always what his dad did when he was stressed, confused, angry or sad. Sometimes, Hiccup did the same and they would walk around Berk together. Hiccup hasn't done it since his dad's death since it brought back too many intense memories that Hiccup couldn't handle. Hiccup had no choice this time. He needed fresh air and a calm situation to think everything through. A lot happened that day.

Hiccup opened the front door and was on his way out. He took a long, deep breath and walked out the front door only to trip over something. A rock perhaps. But when he turned around and looked down, he found the Book of Dragons on his front doorstep. Hiccup looked confused. It wasn't there at the beginning of the day, or when he picked up Heather for his "hang out"—which ended disastrous—nor was it there when he escorted Heather to his house. Hiccup slowly bent down and picked it up and held it in his arms. He was still confused about the Heather thing and to add on that, there was a book that miraculously appeared on his front step. But Hiccup knew better than to believe in magic. Someone must brought it to his house. The house that Hiccup and Heather were in...together...kissing...

Hiccup dropped the book in horror. He felt nauseous and his head was spinning with very many questions and no answers. He couldn't believe it. It was too coincidental, too unlucky and too horrifying to imagine. Hiccup stared at the book laid on the floor in front of him. Someone must've dropped it off here when he was with Heather and they most likely saw Hiccup and Heather kiss through the front window. Hiccup had to find out who the person was. But how?
