Her words were soft. And flowed freshly as the AC running through the car vents.

She looked over to Carter smiling.

"That's awesome."

Delaney stared at the road ahead thankfull that it was dark so that he couldn't see her blush.

" It's like, we didnt see four movies. Only one." He says wonderously.

Delaney said nothing.

After awhile Carter said

"You love the movies." A fact.

"No," Delaney denied.

She denied everything.

But to her, movies were one thing that could function with or without her.

As many times as she would watch it, nothing would ever change.

Almost as if it's another world entirely

One that didn't need her.

But maybe delaney liked movies for the wrong reasons.

Despite anything a person's feeling, a movie can leave a lasting mark of anything that's ever happened.

The manly man made delaney feel mature, that her parents atleast raised her decently.

Deap Seas made her her feel hot and jittery, akward, yet weirdly comfortable. It had made her think of Carter , in ways she'd never seen him before.

In standing tall, it made Carter think of death. He's probably shaken from Bella, but Carter always seems to have more to him . Delaney knew it just wasn't the time to ask.

The movie that made her feel so ignorantly violent, and no matter what you do, someone always trying to bring you down... or shoot you.

The thoughts made her smile.

"Yeah, I guess I do like movies."
