Chapter 14: lone wolf

I'm trying to hide the mess I am, Beth came and told me that Daryl was alive so that's a good thing. I wonder over to Glenn who is looking at the barn with binoculars, I can't quite understand why. I sneak next to him and hide behind a tree as Maggie walks up to him.
"Could you be more obvious?" She asks him. I want to know what there talking about.
"Here enjoy" I hear her place something on the ground.
"You trying to buy my silence with fruit?" He asks her.
"Of corse not, there's also jerky" she finishes and I roll my eyes, cut to the chase I think.
"Can you please tell me why your dad has a barn full of walkers? It's creepy" Glenn says and my hands fly up to my mouth, WHAT!
"Shh" she try's to quiet him.
"You know that right?" He talks over her.
"Shhhhh" she talks over him.
"Just trust me on this ok?" She asks him.
"I suck at lying I can't even play poker it's to much like lying" he tells her.
"You have to keep this to yourself, you have to please" she begs. I hear her foot steps disappear and I walk out from behind the tree.
"What the hell" I almost yell at him.
"Oh god you weren't meant to hear that" he swallows hard.
"You don't say! Got anything else to tell us Glenn?" I say sarcastically.
"Yes, lori is pregnant" he swallows harder.
"Dam it!" I scream, storming toward the barn first, I look through a crack to see dozens of walkers. I then storm pass Glenn again and towards Lori.
"Got anything to tell the group Lori" I yell at her.
"Oh sweetheart why don't we talk in here" she says walking towards her tent.
"Oh my god, you are a bitch to me until I know something you don't want me to know!" I yell and it's true she treated me like a piece of crap on the bottom of her shoe now she's calling me sweetheart!
"Please just don't tell anyone please Luna I beg you" she says and I can tell she will do anything. I think for a second and I remember that she told me I couldn't be around Carl.
"Ok I promise that I will not tell anyone your little secret if you promise that you will let me be around Carl again even if he hates me right now" I say to her and she bites her lip but nods.
"Good" I smile and skip away happily, I walk to Glenn and take two peaches
"Mmm thank you for the peaches Glenn which will obviously come out of your share" he nods and I smile more as I take a bite out of my peach. I walk to Daryl's tent as Andrea walks out.
"Hey, how are you?" I ask and he shrugs.
"I've been better" he mutters and I laugh a little.
"Your in a good mood this morning, what's going on?" He asks as I grin.
"Well I thought you where dead so I'm glad your ok and I'm eating fresh fruit not can food and Lori agreed to let me go near Carl again even if he hates me it's still a good thing. Does life get any better" I smirk handing him his peach.
"Thank you Luna" he says taking a bite out of the peach.
"I thought you where dead" I sigh.
"Aww you where worried about me?" He jokes and I nod.
"Well you are the only one in the group who doesn't hate me so it would suck if you died" I say an he stops smiling.
"No One hates you Luna." He says and I just shrug.
"They do but anyway I should go I've got so much to do today" I smile as I walk out of the tent and Daryl rolls his eyes. I walk up to Hershel's house and knock on the door, Beth open it.
"Hey Beth just the person I was looking for I just wanted to ask if you had found your locket yet?" I ask and she frowns and shakes her head.
"No I haven't" she frowns and I nod.
"I'll have a look around camp you probably just dropped it somewhere." I tell her. She smiles again.
"Thank you Luna" she says, I nod and turn around as she closes the door. I don't mind Beth she doesn't know how bad it is but she is a nice girl. I look around camp for a while with no sign of the locket.
"Hey Luna where going on a gun practice you wanna come?" I look up to see rick standing there. "Do you know how to shoot a gun?" He asks  and I shake my head.
"Sure I'll come" I say smiling. He doesn't look too happy.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
"Carl stole a gun" rick sighs.
"Oh" I say, I'm not sure how I feel about that.
"Can you talk to him?" Rick asks "I mean you will understand him better than me" rick says.
"I can't, me and Carl aren't really friends right now he's mad at me" I sigh.
"Oh ok then but could you try?" Rick asks. I shake my head.
"I don't think I can" I sigh and he nods.
"I understand" he walks away and I follow him. I get in a car and we drive away from the farm.
