(Avery's POV):

I wake up wrapped in warm blankets and a comforting arm wrapped around my waist. The finger attached to the arm slowly rubs circles on my skin. The tingles flow through every bone in my body and my wolf lets out a purr.

I knew it was Zeke holding me right when I woke up.

My wolf is content being held in her mates arms and she's telling me that she wants to live in this moment forever. I agree with her.

I take a deep breath and suck in Zeke's scent. Even when I simply smell him I am turned on. I feel his moist breath on the back of my neck and I'm in complete comfort.

"Can we stay home today?" I ask pleadingly. I never was a big fan of skipping school, but I never want to leave this moment. It's to perfect to just be left.

"Any thing for you Avery." Zeke says and my wolf smiles and thinks her dirty thoughts. 'Anything', she repeats with a smirk.

I stretch out my legs an I feel the sudden urge to puke. I throw the blankets up and rush to Zeke's bathroom. Zeke makes a startled noise and I slide to a stop at the toilet. I throw up the porcelain lid and an explosion happens from my mouth. I rest my arm on the toilet and the vomit continues to flow out of my mouth.

Light footsteps come up behind me and I feel Zeke's hand lay comfortably on my back.

"It's ok Avery." He says as he soothingly rubs the small of my back.

After hurling for another five minutes repeatedly, it stops. A sick feeling still lies in my stomach and Zeke rubs his hand against my back.

---

After Zeke having a panic attack, he forced me to the pack doctor. We are currently walking through the stainless steel door that leads us into a slate white room.

Zeke rubs his thumb gently on my thumb and I rest my head on his shoulder. My wolf purrs at the comfort she is receiving from Zeke's wolf even though we felt no pain before anyways.

We push through the last set of the shiny doors and get into the checkup room. There is a white bench with a cot on top for patients to lie down and a cabinet in the corner which I'm assuming is filled with medical equipment. I look to the other side of the room and there is a desk with a computer and a jar of pencils. In the chair behind the desk is the pack doctor, Anna.

She has her black hair pulled back into a neat bun and has her glasses up high on the bridge of her nose. She looks up from her computer and gives a warm smile.

"How are you today alpha?" She asks with the smile still plastered on her face. "Well not so good," Zeke says. "With all the rogues running around its a bit unsettling. And today Avery woke up and didn't feel so good." He says before letting out a sigh.

"Well Avery lets get you checked out," She says. "Go ahead and take a seat on the cot." She then points to the cot and I nod.

"As for you Zeke, it would be a favor if you left the room." Zeke flashes a suspicious look at the doctor and then leaves the room after giving me one last glance.

"So let's just start with some simple questions Avery," She says and I nod back in response.

"How were you feeling this morning?" She asks first. "Well I felt fine at first but then I suddenly felt a sick feeling in my stomach and ran to the bathroom. And everything just kind of spilled out of my mouth," I say.

"Have all of your eating habits been regular?" She questions. "Same as always," I say. I begin to twiddle with my thumbs as she continues to question.

"Have you got all of your shots for stomach viruses or stomach flu?" She says while writing my previous responses on her clipboard. "Every single one," I say shrugging.

"How is your throat?" She says while nodding. "Same as always," I reply simply.

"Can I get a urine sample?" She says. "Whatever it takes," I say nodding. Anna opens the cupboard behind me and hands me a small cup with a cap and a packet of wipes. "The bathroom is just outside to your left," she notifies me.

---

After taking the sample, I made my way back to the room. I set the sample in the samples box on a small side table right when you walk into the room. Anna smiles and begins to speak. "Your sample will be tested and your results will be to you in at most two days."

"Okay, thank you so much." I say sending a smile back. "Not a problem Luna. And it seems as though your mate is anxious to see you," She says pointing to the window on the door, which Zeke is peeking through. When he sees Anna pointing, he ducks below the window.

"We saw you Zeke," I say as I open the cold door. "Its time to go anyways." He stands back up and send a killer smile that reminds me of a little boy stealing a cookie from a cookie jar.

After one last thanks to Anna, we head on our way home.
