The Girl Who Changed The Alpha's Life Chapter 18

(Anna's POV):

I knew right when Avery had walked into my checkup room, she was pregnant. I could smell it on her.

After she answered the questions, I was positive she's pregnant. I didn't want to break it to her then, and I wanted her to think it was something else so I took the urine sample. The main reason I didn't want to tell her is because she's my Luna. I can feel the power radiate off her. If she gets upset from the news, she could kick me out of the pack or even hurt or kill me. I'm leaving the dirty work to Zeke.

I know, sounds real nice of me right? But she wouldn't dare hurt Zeke and she has no power to kick him out of the pack.

I know Zeke knows of the pregnancy also. He has been blocking me out of his mind link, and he gave me a knowing look before he left my office with Avery.

I also saw before Avery left her stomach looked larger. The faster the pregnancy, the stronger the alpha. Avery's pregnancy will be very fast. Zeke is the strongest alpha I have ever met.

Ever. And I've met all of the Alpha's.

I'm guessing Avery will give birth in around four or five days. so if she wants an abortion, she will have to decide now.

Right now I sit at my desk holding my head with my hands. My dark black locks of hair flow in front of my face and I push them back.

I have to speak to Zeke. She has to know, and then tomorrow if she agrees to hold the pups, we can do an ultrasound and figure out the gender of the pup.

I hope she wants the pups. It would be so exciting to see our future alpha grow up, just like we did Zeke.

He was a wild one. Whenever he came to get a checkup I would see him try to be defiant to his parents and stay in the waiting room to play, Asbut he failed of coarse.

As he got older, he stayed in the waiting room for other reasons.

Girls. He would stay to look at the other teenage girls, mostly the ones who came for birth control pills. I know as a doctor, I should be a bit more mature and not talk like the teenagers, but in this case it only fits. The girls were sluts. They even dressed skimpily to come here. Like they were coming here to get some guy's attention. Yeah right. They had problems.

Zeke also often went to parties from what I heard, and they were definitely the kind of party that had beer. And lots of it.

He was definitely a wild child, a partier, and very defiant.

My thoughts get sucked back into the present and I begin to push into Zeke's mind link.

'Alpha,' I say loud and clear in the mind link. 'Yes Anna?' he replies. 'Does Avery know?' I ask and wait for his answer. 'Yes,' He says then pauses. 'She knows. She also plans to hold

the pups.' He says with excitement.

'Would you mind asking her if she would like to come in tomorrow for an ultrasound?' I ask in a lighter tone. 'Sure thing,' he says. 'Please don't tell anyone yet that Avery is pregnant. I would like our parents to be the first ones to know other than you.' I nod my head, but then remember he can't see me. 'Yes alpha Zeke.'

(Zeke's POV):

"Avery would you like to go get an ultrasound tomorrow?" I ask in a soft voice while she is still dancing and prancing around the family room.

She displays her gorgeous smile which makes me smile back. "Yes!" She says with an excited tone.

She then looks down to her stomach and puts her hands on her hips. "My stomach already looks bigger than this morning," She says.

I smile and roll my eyes. "Would you like to go on a date after the ultrasound tomorrow?" I ask. She puts on a angelic smile and nods furiously. "Of course!" She says.

I then go to my mind link. 'She says yes Anna,' I say in Anna's link. 'That's good, see you tomorrow." She says In a warm voice.

"Can we go tell our parents?" She asks with happiness radiating off of her.

"We could invite our parents to a dinner with us tonight if you would like," I say. "That way they could meet each other and we could meet each others parents."

Avery nods. "Where would we go?" She asks. "We could go to that nice restaurant next to the bank, it looks nice there." She nods once again confirming it.

After making a couple of calls, getting cleaned up and dressed, and ten minutes of sitting in the car with Avery, we made our ways to the restaurant known as George's.

We now sit at the polished table with our parents. We chew our food savoring the flavors of the nice juicy steaks.

Avery's parents seem to like my parents, vice versa.

But now is the time to tell them the news. The whole reason for this dinner.

"Me and Avery have something to tell you," I say after clearing my throat. Avery's father stops talking to my dad and and our mothers stop abruptly from the talking.

My mom smiles. I think she may already know because of Avery's scent.

Instead of letting me announce the news like we planned, Avery blurts it out. "I'm pregnant."

All our parents gasp at the news which is then followed by smiles.

"We will be getting an ultrasound tomorrow." I say while questions are being thrown at both me and Avery.

"When did you figure out?" My mom asks first. "We just figured out today," I respond.

Oh joy, loads of questions to answer.
