(Avery's POV):
I stretch my arms up in the air and stand my tip toes. I feel my muscles relax after I put my arms down and stand back on my full foot.
My feet drag across the soft white carpet in Zeke's bedroom. We got home from our dinner with our parents a couple of hours ago and my jaw hurts from answering so many questions. I also had to answer Sammy's questions because I called her when we got home. Then I had to answer all of the pack's questions because we had a short meeting. I pop my jaw out and feel it loosen up.
That feels better.
I drag my feet to Zeke's dresser and pull open the large middle drawer. He now leaves large shirts of his for me to sleep in that drawer now. I have all of my clothes here now, but I prefer to sleep in Zeke's clothes still. It makes me feel safe from my past.
My mom brought all of my clothes to our dinner because she had a feeling I would be staying at Zeke's place from now on. She was right. All of my clothes are just in boxes in Zeke's closet now.
I grab a large dark green shirt and head to Zeke's bathroom to take a shower and change.
I twist the brass handle and make my way in. I am stopped by something that makes my wolf overjoyed and me slightly startled. Zeke is naked, getting ready to take a shower of his own. I had no clue he was even in here, and he left the door unlocked.
"Want to join?" He's asks, delighted as I take in his figure. I nod, and strip out of my clothes.
-------------
I look in the mirror and approve of my outfit. We are going to Anna's office now, for the ultrasound. I wear a tank top that leaves a little bit of my shoulders exposed, and has dark orange ruffles at the top. The rest of the shirt is the same shade of orange. I have a long necklace draped over my neck that has amber beads on the small chain every couple of inches. My shorts are a light denim to lighten up the outfit. My blonde hair is clipped up and secured by a pin. I still stand at the mirror trying to spot any flaws of the outfit.
I feel an arm wrap around my side and I look down at it. It's tan and muscular, and judging by the sparks that course through my body from the contact, it's Zeke. Who else could it be anyways?
I look in the mirror again, and look at us, together. We look perfect together. Like all mates do.
"You look beautiful," Zeke says and he then presses his nose to my shoulder, inhaling my scent.
I smile and he lifts his head up. "For our date we can go to the beach if you would like," He says still staring directly at me. "That would be great," I say. "We'll have to gather up swim suits and stuff like that now so we don't have to make another trip back here though." He nods agreeing with me. "Well let's get started gathering things now," He says and leaves my side.
I head to Zeke's closet and pull open the folding door. I find the box of my stuff that is labeled 'Bags' and pull out a dark green beach tote. I then slide past a couple of other boxes and find a box labeled 'Summer stuff'. After digging through it, I find my swim suit. It's dark blue, light blue and white striped. In the same box I find my beach towel and sun glasses. My mom is great at organizing. I wish I had those skills.
I walk out of the closet and I see Zeke has all of his things gathered up already. "Do you want to put your stuff in my bag?" I ask when I see the handful of stuff he has, which he appears to be struggling to not drop it all. He nods and I open up my bag. He puts his things in one at a time.
---
I sit in the same exact room I did a few days ago. Anna has covered my lower half with a blue cloth. My head rest on a fluffy pillow and I feel really excited. Both Zeke's parents and my parents are here to hear what the baby's gender is. I can't wait. Me and Zeke already have male and female names decided for when we figure out the gender.
