11:50 P.M."Serena!" Austin yells. Serena was unconcious for at least 15 minutes. Please, don't die. Please! He sensed spirits were becoming more and more excited.
"What's wrong with her?" Richard Love asks. The wind screamed and forced him to yell.
"She is in the spirit time, and unfortunately, not at a good time," Taylor says. "We need to get her back, now!" Austin immediately takes action. He grabs her up in one swift movement and nods to Taylor. Richard stands near Austin, just in case they fell. Suddenly, Serena shoots up. Austin almost dropped her.
"What are you doing?" she says concerned.
"Getting you out of here," Richard says.
"No, no, no! I know where she is! Please, we can save her!" Serena says. She grabs Austin's coat and looks into his eyes pleading. He knew that his will power to defy her was slowly dimming.
"But look at you! You are turning blue!" Austin tries to fight back. Her eyes start to tear up, and that was the last straw.
"Taylor, Richard, go back to the mansion and bring any transport available. We're getting Jazmin." Austin says. He looks straight into Taylor's eyes. The determination seemed to seep out of him and Taylor could feel it. She went through all the protocols, but sometimes it had to go way off course.
"Promise me that you will make it of here with or without Jazmin," her stern voice speaks over the howling storm around them.
"I promise," Austin and Serena say in usion. Taylor nods and starts to head towards the exit, and Richard reluctantly follows.
"Lead the way," Austin says. He puts Serena's lightweight down. She was a little unstable, but that didn't stop her. She had a mission to bring back her co-worker. She knew that none the spirirts were interested in her. Only in the show that Jazmin was putting for them.
Serena let's her memory guide her to the tomb that she saw. She hoped that it wasn't far, because her fingers were starting to burn and that was never a good sign. Finally, they reach the tomb. Austin sees that there is a wooden door.
Luckily, it was wooden, and that is was so old that he could easily break it. He looks at the description of the name. Here lies a Lady Charity Love. "Okay, stand back Serena," Austin says. He takes a deep breath and uses the force of his whole body to knock the door down.
It kicked in and they immediately ran inside. There were stairs that led down to a dark abyss. Austin grabs his cellphone and turns on the flashlight. For once, the technology works for a dangerous situation. "Serena, are you sure that the spirits aren't after us?"
"P-positive," she says. The inside of the tomb was no better, all the spirits seemed to linger here. Austin takes a deep breath and starts to descend the stairs. Their breathing was heavy and Austin was starting to have a cold sweat.
Then a sound. Mumbles were coming from the dark room. Austin looks at her in question. She shakes her head to say that it was safe to go on. He turns back to the shadows. He steps on the last step and immediately freezes at what he saw.
Shadows all over the room turned towards them. Human eyes stared at them. Like they were expecting them and planned something dangerous to happen. Whispers started to feel Austin in his head. Whispers of how they died, their secrets, their regrets. "Austin, don't listen to them, they are cursed here. Not us. Not Jazmin. They are to tone for their crimes here forever," Serena says. She pulled Austin back into reality. She was right. He was living and they were not. He needed to start acting like the Exorcist that he was trained for.
He prepares to recite the exorcist prayer if the spirits start to try any funny business. They continue till they get to a coffin. The spirits begin to whisper even more excited. Serena looks over at the far wall and sees a crack. "That seems familiar," she says. He nods. Austin gives Serena the phone and inspects the crack. There was no light coming from it, but he felt a breeze leaving it. Another room. He tries to look for a way in like a button or knob.
Austin looks towards the coffin. He had heard of old families leaving riches in the tombs, but they key was always in the coffin. He turns and starts to uncover the coffin. A smiling skeleton smiles back at them and greets them of the smell of dust and decay. Serena gags, and her lips crack from the sudden movement.
Austin takes a deep breath but immediately regretted it. The smell somehow managed to become a taste. "If you are still a lost soul roaming this world, please forgive us for unburying you. However, we mean no tresspass, and only wish to save our friend," he says. There was silence, but suddenly a kind warmth enveloped him. He smiled and saw the key shining and so was the door.
Serena was looking at a very dark corner and was smiling happily. Austin just grabs her by the hand and leads her away. Soon the bitter cold was gone, and they were in a place that felt safe, but not. Austin couldn't describe it. Soon he heard yelling and lots of energy. The two follow it to an opening. "Jazmin," Serena calls. Three people look at them and one of them being Jazmin. The look of relief was set upon her face.
"Austin, help," she yells. The boy in front of her grabs her neck and she instantly shuts up.
"I suggest you leave, or I'm going to rekill her," the boy growls.
"He's not joking either," says the girl unamused. She was looking at her nails.
"That is not Amelia Love. You killed her and now she is stuck here as well, please, let her go," Austin tries to reason. This spirit must've snapped and became earth-bound. The boy looks at him contemplating.
"I'll let her say her goodbyes, but I'll be back to take her," the boys says. He throws Jazmin at Serena's and Austin's feet. The energy was now chokingly powerful. Austin had to get the girls out of here. They ran and ran until finally they were out of the graveyard. Then everything went black for Austin.
