Chapter 7 ~

Aaron and I jump back from each other as we see Chas stood in the doorway, open-mouthed and wide-eyed.

"What's this?"

"I should of shut my bedroom door, that's what.." Aaron mutters.

"Explain."

Aaron sighs, looking at me.

I sigh, looking towards Chas. "I'm bisexual, alright?"

Chas walks into the room."You better not be messing my son around, Ross." Chas tells me, sternly. "Since when anyway? I know you on women."

"You talk like I'm Robert." I mutter. "For a while." I admit. "I didn't see the point of telling anyone:"

"See this is why I said not to tell anyone.." Aaron mutters beside me.

I wrap my arm around Aaron's waist and pull him closer to me.

"I'm not judging you, love." My mum tells me, sitting beside me. "I'm just looking out for you."

"I know mum, it's just I don't want people to think I go out... or get off with anyone, y'know what I mean?"

I cuddle Aaron tighter. "Hey Aaron, I promise I'll be always here for you no matter what." I rub my hand on his back, comfortingly. "I don't care what people think. I do I look like I care what people think?" I point to my face smiling and Aaron grins back.

Aaron frowns. "You been serious?"

"Yup." I say, shortly.

Aaron smiles. "Thanks." Aaron cuddles my waist.

"If you guys are serious... I won't tell anyone." Chas tells us, smiling. "But you need to tell Carly too."

"Cheers." I smile. I sigh. "I forgot about her but I'll tell her."

"Yeah, thanks mum."

"It's okay, love." Chas tells Aaron. "But if there's any funny business..." Chas continues, looking at me.

"They won't." I assure her.

"Good." Chas smiles, getting up off the bed, giving one last nod before walking out.

I smile at Aaron before kissing him on the lips. "I need to go."

Aaron frowns. "Oh."

"Sorry, Finn's on to me, he saw me texting you."

"Alright, tell him straight though."

I nod, leaning in and kissing his cheek. "I will."

"I'll see ya out." Aaron smilies, getting up.

"Cheers." I stand up too.

Aaron and I walk out of his room and down the stairs, back down to the pub backdoor.

Aaron unlocks the door and opens it letting the cold air in the passageway.

"I'll see ya around, yeah?" Aaron asks.

"Yeah, of course."

Aaron smiles, leaning forward and I smile too, joining my lips with Aaron's for a moment before biting his lip lightly.

Aaron groans into the kiss before breaking off from me.

"G'night." Aaron says, with a smile.

"Night." I smile back before walking away from the pub.

-----

I walk in my house and let the warm heat hit me.

I rub my hands together, trying to warm them.

"You're back?" Finn says, from the kitchen, typing on the laptop.

"Yep." I say as I lay on the couch.

Finn gets up from the kitchen stool and makes his way to the refrigerator and taking out two cans of lager.

"Here." Finn says, walking over to me, holding it out.

"Cheers." I say as I receive it, moving my legs and going into a sitting position.

"So... How did it go?" Finn asks as he sits down.

"Fine." I say simply.

"Why didn't you tell me you were gay?" Finn asks. "We're brothers." Finn looks slightly offended.

"Bisexual." I correct. "And it isn't such a big deal." I shrug. "I didn't really see the point of it."

"Oh. I see..." Finn takes a drink of lager. "So, you and Aaron?"

"I... I like him.." I murmur, blushing slightly. "We're gonna make a go of it."

"I'm not surprised! He's a gorgeous guy." Finn agrees. "You told anyone yet?"

I smile. "Damn right he is." I blush. "Just Chas. Don't tell anyone though yet, okay?"

Finn frowns. "What about mum and dad? Or Pete?"

"Sure, tell them but no others, alright?" I ask. "It's been hard on Aaron.. with Robert and that." I take a sip of lager.

"Okay, cool." Finn smiles. "I won't tell anyone if you don't."

"Shake on it." I hold my hand out.

Finn smiles before shaking my hand.

-----

"Hey" I say walking across the village to the garage with a hand close to my eyes, blocking out the sun.

Aaron turns around. "Alright." Aaron says casually.

I walk to him. "Finn knows. He's gonna keep it a secret."

"Okay. Good." Aaron nods. "We'll tell people soon, alright?"

"Yeah." I smile. I walk towards Aaron further. "I wish I could kiss you now." I whisper in Aaron's ear.

"Mmm... I wish you could now too." Aaron whispers back, smirking and I grin. Aaron looks around. "Actually, maybe we could now there's no-"

"Hey Ross." Somebody interrupts. I turn around and see Carly walking towards me. "Where were you yesterday?"

"Busy." I respond quickly.

"Doing what?" She asks curious.

"Paperwork." I say, smiling convincingly.

"Paperwork? Since when do you do paperwork?" Carly asks, bewildered.

"Yeah, that's what I'm thinking." Robert walks up beside her, smiling.

I sigh. "Keep out of this, Sugden. Get back to your wife... Oh! Wait! She doesn't wantcha." I smile as he huffs and walks away.

I frown at Carly. "I always do paperwork you just never see me." I say defensively.

"Right, okay. Do you want to meet up later... after work?" Carly smiles.

"Um, yeah, we've... we've got some things to discuss, yeah?"

"Like what?" Carly asks, curious.

"Just some things." I say, simply. "I'll talk later."

"Oh, okay." Carly smiles, leaning to kiss my lips but I move my head and she kisses my cheek.

"See you then, yeah?"

"Yeah."

Carly smiles before walking away again.

"God, she's hard to get rid of." Aaron mutters.

"Tell me about it." I mutter back before smiling. "Now, how about that kiss?"
