I Wish You Could Be Honest

It's been three weeks and I've sort of avoided Patrick and Ryan ever since that period of time but Homecoming is next week and I haven't asked anybody yet.

I was thinking about asking Jenna but who am I kidding? She won't go with me, she'll more likely go with Josh.

Today was a nice day, nothing happened with Alex and I. Mr. Owens wasn't being an asshole to me. Excuse me for the sinful language. Mr. Carter as always, was really nice. Ms. Brooks was more sarcastic today.

But lunch was sort of.. Strange.

"So, did you guys hear about Homecoming?" Josh asks, drinking his Dr. Pepper.

"Yeah, are one of you guys going?" Jenna raises her eyebrows at us.

"I'm meeting Ashley tomorrow so.. I don't know.. Maybe, I can take her." Josh smiles.

"Well, Josh, I started doing something."

"What was it, Tyler?" He picks up a fry.

"I started jerking off."

He spits out his fry and starts laughing.

"What?"

Jenna just sits there.

"Bud, jerking off isn't anything public to share. Excuse us, Jenna." Josh excuses.

"No, no, it's-" She starts laughing too.

"I don't know, I wanted to share.. I thought it was cool." 

"Yeah, I'm not sure if I'd want to go to Homecoming with you anymore." Jenna states.

"What, I didn't ask you, I wasn't going to." 

"No, I was going to ask you."

"Homecoming is for guys to ask the girls." I state.

"You know what? That is so sexist, us woman should have a choice in whether we want to ask the guy or not."

"You always have Sadie Hawkins." Josh smiles.

"Fuck Sadie Hawkins! Ya know, I wish both of you'd be honest with me instead of holding it back. You guys would disagree with the sexist thing, I know so."

Jenna throws her water bottle at Josh, "By the way, Tyler, do you want to go to Homecoming with me?" She stands up from her seat.

"Sure-Wait, wh-" Then, Jenna is already gone by the time I sort of finish my sentence.

"Alright, I'm gonna have to teach you some stuff I was hoping I wouldn't have to teach you when you come over today."

"I'm coming over?"

"You are now."

 I don't know what Josh is going to teach me but Jenna and I are going to Homecoming together so I have that going for me. I am really excited for it but I don't want to have sex with her because even know, I've never had sex or never even had a first kiss, I don't want to be a guy who is all about sex, especially when it comes to Jenna. I really like her.
