Chapter 6

-Justin's Point of View

I've been looking for her all day, and now she's right in front of me. What do I say? What do I do? Wow, she's beautiful. She's talking to Maxwell, wait, what?! She's going to perform?! Scoreee. "Um..well..I have nothing to sing, nothing prepared, like I have no original songs," I hear her say in a cute worried voice. That's when I know it's my turn. "You can sing mine.." you say in your sexiest voice possible. She hesitates for a second before turning around, her dirty blond hair swinging in the wind. Her jaw drops when she sees you, looking like she wants to scream but nothing comes out. You just stand there for a while looking deep into her big brown eyes until you snap back. "Ahh, Justin to the rescue. What do you have in mind?" Maxwell asks looking at me. "She can sing Fall & Be Alright. They're beautiful, like her. Maybe a girl song added too will even it out." She still hasn't said anything. Is she scared? Is it me? Do I have something in my teeth, on my face?! "Sounds great! Is that okay with you *yn*?" Maxwell asks turning to her, her eyes still locked on mine. "Uh um ye-yeah sure, that's fine." She stutters finally looking away. "Great, I'll go finalize it with the crew. Can you sing Skyscraper?" "Mhm" she says looking at the ground. This made her worried, uncomfortable for some reason. Maxwell left, and it was just us. She looked up and smiled, she was obviously embarrassed? "Uh so, we didn't properly meet. I'm Justin" I say flashing my million dollar smile, holding my hand out. She takes it and shakes it, in that moment I feel static through my body. "I'm *yn*." She says blushing. "I know, I heard you on the radio this morning." I say with a wink. " Some voice you've got, you're going to be famous, I can tell. And you're lucky, I don't let just anyone sing my songs." I finish with a smile. She smiles back, finally flashing her bright whites. "Oh yeah, thanks for that" She says, obviously more comfortable. "Justin, we need you in your dressing room like now." my stylist yelled. "Well I better go get dressed." I say looking down at my mario pajama pants and laughing. "Me too, I should find where I'm supposed to be." She says, still smiling and turning around. Wait, I can't let her get away. I grab her wrist without thinking and she spins around. "You forgot something." I quickly say and she has a confused look on her face. I take her phone out of her hand and put my number in it. "Text me after the show" I say with a final smile and we both go our separate ways. Okay, that went good for the first time, but next time it will be better I think to myself.
