Chapter 42
-Justins POV
"You stay here okay?" I told y/n as I went upstairs. I grabbed her a blanket and a pillow and ran over to her on the couch. "Here. Oh, wait one more thing." I left her to get comfy while I went to the kitchen to make her a cup of tea. I leaned against the counter while I waited for the tea kettle to whistle. A million things were going through my mind at this point. What are we going to do about the album? We can't just push the release back. It would let down the fans and I can't do that to them. But I can't let Austin hurt my girl...not again. I swear if he even comes near us again I will have that piece of shit on the floor begging me to end his life...my thoughts were interrupted by the whistling tea kettle. I finished it and walked back to the living room to find y/n by the stairs sweeping up the last bit of glass and flowers on the floor. "All done," She said with an adorable half smile, as if nothing ever happened. "You didn't have to clean that up. I would've done it. I mean I did throw them-" I was cut off by her lips on mine, "it's fine." She smiled. I swear she has the most gorgeous smile. I love everything about her. The way her eyes light up when she's on stage. Her beautiful voice. The way her nose scrunches up when she is thinking of lyrics for a song. The way her hair looks in the sun..."Shit..." I mumbled. She turned to look at me. "What?" I couldn't let her know that I knew exactly how to solve our problem. "Nothing..." I lied. "I think I stepped on a piece of glass. I'll take care of it. You just sit there and chill. I'll be right back." I said walking towards the stairs. I pulled out my phone and dialed Scooters number. I need to talk to him before anything.
-Your POV
Why was he acting so strange? I tried to shrug it off and turned to the TV, flipping through the channels until I saw my favorite movie. The Notebook. And it was just starting too. This was one of the only movies I could watch over and over again and not get tired of it. I got so lost in the movie, staring in amazement. The love Noah and Allie shared never ceased to amaze me. I've always wanted a love like theirs, but it seems like they don't exist. I mean Justin is perfect in every way but I honestly don't think we could have a love like theirs as much as I want it. I noticed my favorite scene come on. The one where Noah and Allie are on the beach with the birds. "Do you think I could've been a bird in a past life?" Allie asked. I just smiled. Then I felt Justin sit down next to me on the couch. I shot him a quick smile then turned my attention back to the TV. "Say I'm a bird!" I yelled along with Allie turning to Justin. He laughed his adorable laugh. I loved quoting this movie. I moved in close to him. "Now say your a bird." I whispered along with the movie. He stared in my eyes, locking my gaze with his. His eyes filled with something I couldn't comprehend. "If your a bird, I'm a bird." He said along with Noah, but all I could hear was Justin. He leaned in placing his lips on mine. I kissed back with everything I had, our lips moving to their own rhythm. As we shared this kiss it hit me. What I had just seen in his eyes.. it was love. Pure love and nothing else. I finally had it. What Noah and Allie had. True love.
