Chapter 10
-Your Point of View
I step outside into the cold winter air. Maybe this was a bad idea. I'm only wearing shorts what is wrong with me. Whatever. I can see Xfinity live from where I am, it's about two blocks. Walking through the parking lot was scary. It's so dark, all alone. Suddenly I hear footsteps behind me. "Hey pretty," I hear a man say behind me. I walked faster-only about a block and a half now. I feel my heart beating through my chest. "Why you walking so fast? Slow down and walk with me." I was practically running now. Why did I do this, why. I'm so stupid. Tears start to fall down my cheeks as he grabbed my wrist and spun me around. He slapped me across the face so hard I could feel my pulse beating in my cheek. "I told you to walk with me and you didn't, and now you're going to pay you dumb bitch." He yells in my face. He was obviously drunk, in his late 30's. "Now come with me." He spat in my face. "No, she's coming with me." Someone yells. You turn around to see Justin has come to the rescue, once again, and he looks mad. There's anger in his eyes, and thank God he's alone because this could get ugly. He ran towards us as the man let me go. He started throwing punches into the mans face as he fell to the ground. Woah, he was a sexy fighter. Wait-he was fighting for me. I couldn't let him get in trouble for this. "Justin. Justin!" I yelled. "Justin stop! He's not worth your time or getting in trouble. Just leave him." Justin stood up, brushing himself off. We both looked down to the man who had blood all over his face and was knocked out, still breathing. "I'm sorry." I whispered as he looked at me. "For what?! I'm glad I forgot my phone. He could've hurt you, or killed you, and I would never have gotten the chance to do this." He said quickly staring me in the eyes. "Do wh-" I started but was interrupted by firm hands on my waist, a perfect set of lips gently pecking mine. It was like 10000 butterflies were released in my stomach. I put my arms around his neck and our noses were gently touching. "That." he said quietly. I giggled. "*Yn*, I think I like you." he said whispering. "I think I like you too," I said smiling. And in that moment it felt like we were the only two people in the world and no one could break us. "Shall we go?" He asked, taking his hands off my waist and intertwining his one hand with mine. I giggled again, "We shall" I said smiling and looking him in the eyes as we walked to Xfinity Live.
