Chapter 37

-Justin's POV

Listening to our final intro, *yn* stood in front of me and I wrapped my arms around her waist, twisting in front of her and kissing her cheek. "We work well together" I whispered in her ear and she giggled. "We got a lot done today, I'm so proud of you two! The other days won't be easier though. On Wednesday I want you two to meet me here, same time, with at least 2 new songs." Scooter said sternly. "We won't let you down" I assured him before he walked out. "C'mon, let's go I miss home." She whined. "Ugh same. And I miss normal people food. Let's get taco bell! I'll treat." I winked, grabbing her hand and leading her to the car. "Last time I checked Taco Bell isn't classified as "normal people food", but I'm starving so it sounds like a plan." She laughed walking over to the drivers side and getting in. "You're so little compared to this big truck babe, it's cute." I said watching her struggle a bit to get in. "Well you just had to get me the biggest Range Rover possible, but I love it, it's the best gift I ever got." She said smiling at me warmly. "Do you really mean that?" I asked. "Yeah, it's been my dream car since I was like 12." She laughed with truth behind her words. "Hm, I'm glad I got it for you. It fits you well." I smiled.

"To Taco Bell we go! How's your arm?" She asked pulling out of the driveway. "It's fine, I really can't feel a thing. These meds work like magic." I said. "That's good." She said. The rest of the drive to Taco Bell was silent, neither of us had anything to say. I just watched her, she was so pretty. I was so lucky to have her. "Drive threw or walk in?" She asked breaking the silence. "Let's go in, it'll be a date." I smiled. "What a date." she laughed sarcastically. "Hey, it's better than nothing!" I fought back and she laughed again. She laughs at everything and I loved it. Once she parked we got out and I walked over to her lacing our hands together and kissing her passionately for the first time in what seemed like ages. I bit her lip lightly asking for entrance and she gave in almost immediately. Our tongues fought for dominance and I won likes always, smiling into the kiss. "I missed this." I whispered into her lips after backing away slightly. "Me too, we'll finish later, I'm hungry." She winked. "You're such a tease." I frowned jokingly grabbing her hand again and leading her to the door.

We both ordered 2 Doritos Locos Tacos and small drinks before sitting across from each other at a table in the corner. "Don't take this the wrong way, I don't want to upset you, but how have you been since, you know..." I said quietly, meeting her eyes. "Justin..." she answered in a whisper, looking down and avoiding eye contact. "I just want to know you're doing okay. You can talk to me, the more you wait the harder it'll be." I whispered, putting my thumb under her chin  and pushing her face up so her eyes would meet mine. "I-I'm fine, really. I can't change the past and talking about it won't change anything." She murmured. "I don't think you're fine. Tell me what's on your mind, love" I urged, hoping she'd open up more.

"To be honest, I can't get it out of my mind. He took my virginity Justin. I can't get that back, and it hurt like hell, physically and emotionally. I can't believe I was so dumb to go with him. I wanted you to be my first time, and I'm sorry you couldn't be." She said quickly with tears streaming down her face now. "You're sorry? No baby, no. It's fine, I'm not mad one bit. We can't change what happened and I still love you the same. I may not have been your first time but I'll be your best time, I promise." I added a wink making her laugh a little. "See there's that smile I love. Now doesn't it feel better we talked about it?" I smiled wiping her tears with my thumb. "Yeah, it does. Hopefully I can just forget about it now. Thanks Justin." She said lightening up. "It's my pleasure." I replied sipping my soda and finishing my second taco.

"Damn I missed food like that. I hate hospital food." I laughed making her smile again. "Aren't you going to eat your other taco?" I said sipping my soda again pointing at her one unopened. "Nah, I'm full, I'll just take it with me. Ready to go?" She asked. "Yep. I can't wait to actually be in my own house again. It feels like ages." I said standing up and grabbing her free hand leading her to the car. The ride home we talked about random things, from music to elementary school memories. "I remember in elementary school I wasn't allowed to have scissors because once I cut my shirt open and said I was the hulk and another time I cut a big chunk out of my hair trying to become a boy." She laughed. "Wow babe, you were so badass. You really thought cutting your hair would make you a guy? I'm pretty sure theres more to it..." I mocked. "Oh shutup, I was like 6!" She defended as we pulled into my driveway. "Home sweet home." We said simultaneously then turning to laugh at each other. It was good to be home.
