The end is here. Deck of Cards, after a staggering 52 chapters, is done. I cannot express the gratitude I feel to everyone who has read and voted for this book, you have made this experience worth while.

I know this is really my first 'authors note' in this book, which means this is the first time I can truly thank everyone for getting this book to 1.47k- that is a colossal feat! Every read, comment and vote has pushed me on to carry on writing. Every time I see that someone has voted, the smile on my face grows.

I feel oddly nostalgic that it is over, it will be strange to not wake up every morning and begin writing a new chapter. It will be strange to not have to worry about those five girls that have now been embedded in my heart. This has been a great experience and I hope you have all enjoyed it! Maybe, in a few months, I'll come back to this story and decide to edit it and I'll get to relive the whole thing again. Or maybe I'll just leave it as it is.

Thank you again for reading!

P.S I'd really love to thank @TheDarkEpress (sorry if that's spelt wrong my phone is messing up right now) who has been amazing throughout and voted on every chapter. You've been so supportive and lovely- so yeah thanks for voting on every chapter and just being amazing generally! XD

So I thought I would include an undated author's note, seeing as I've edited the book. I hope now that I have ironed out any grammatical mistakes although there are still some there I think. It was shocking to see how many mistakes I made, it was hard to believe that anyone had the patience to ready my sentences that missed out words. Or paragraphs where I changed tense halfway through.

But editing this story has not only made me realise how many grammar errors I made, but it also reminded me of how much I loved writing this story. I was reminded of the story, and all the smaller sub-plots I had forgotten. When I finished this book it had 1.47k and now that number is over 2k! Wow- I actually can't believe it sometimes.

I hope this edited version is easier to read and understand. Maybe I'll come back to this book some day and edit it again, to correct any mistakes I missed. Maybe I'll lengthen some of the shorter chapters. Maybe I'll make some things more clear. Maybe.

But anyway, thank you for reading!
