In the other girls POVs they may refer to what happened the day before- just remember that all the girls do the same activities but you only get one of the perspectives each day. So if the chapter starts with "I looked at the cuts the hounds gave me yesterday" don't be confused, the other four girls were looking after different hounds at the same time.
Also note that the girls don't know that there are others like them except Ava who knows the rules of the game, however she hasn't seen any of the girls.
I get that it may be a confusing story so please ask if anything doesn't make sense!
