Jason's pov
We get off the bus after the tour, my adrenaline pumping. That was probably the coolest 6 months of my life, especially at the end of the day when everyone was chanting my name. Mom is waiting on the front step. "M-Mom where's Sierra?" I ask, worriedly. "Inside. So how did you know?" She counter asks. "I just had a dream the night before." I tell her. We go back inside. "Where's Miranda?" "Oh her and Kimberly are really close friends. They went out for a spa day." Sierra comes down the steps. "Dad! There was a school shooting!" She cries, running over to me. I hug her. "I know baby I saw it all on the news." I say, sitting on the couch. My phone rings as soon as I do. "Hey baby, done shopping?" "Yeah but the truck stalled. Can you jump us?" I laugh. "Sweetheart, change the statement." She laughs too. "I'm on my way." I hang up and tell mom the situation. I drive to the place they were shopping at. They're laughing about something. I get my jumper cables. "Hey, what are y'all laughing about?" "Hey Jason, you've come to jump us?" Kim jokes. I roll my eyes. "Just so long as you don't throw flour and water on my head again." I say, pointing at her. They laugh again as I hook the cables to the trucks. Kim gets in her truck. Miranda gets in mine. "Ok let it rip." I call. They both turn the ignition. "Whoa!" I gasp, seeing sparks. "Turn it off!" I call, waving my hands. But I don't think they hear me. I pull the jumper cables off. Oh crap wrong move. I feel the electricity flow through me.
Miranda's pov
I jump out. "Jason are you okay!?" I cry, running to his side and hitting my knees. Smoke is coming off his hair and he's unconscious. "Jason! Wake up!" I cry terrified. He groans. "Oh man, what happened?" He mumbles, putting a hand to his head. "You got electrocuted. Are you okay?" I gasp, fearfully. "I think so. Damn my head hurts." He says, sitting up. "I'm okay." He says, holding my hand. "Ok, I was worried." "I'm fine." He smiles and rests a hand on her truck and it springs to life. He jumps back afraid of getting electrocuted again. "How.... Did that happen?" He mumbles, shocked. I stare at his hands in complete bewilderment. "Jason! Look at your hands!" I cry, pointing.
Jason's pov
I look at them. My eyes go wide. My hands..... Are glowing!! What the hell?! I glance at the jumper cables. When I got electrocuted something happened. I shake away the weird glow. "Well that sure was weird." I say, still staring at them, confused. "Let's just go home." We get back in my truck and Kimberly gets in hers. I wave and we go on home. My phone's almost dead so I take it out of my pocket to put it on the charger but my hand starts glowing again and when I turn my phone on, it's fully charged?!?! Damn! I think I can control electronics!! This is totally crazy!! I walk in the living room. They have the TV on some cooking channel. "Hey guys watch this." I say, pointing at the TV. I change it to the outdoors channel with just my hands. "Whoa!" Sierra gasps. Mom and Miranda just stare at it shocked. "How did you-" Ma starts. "I think it has something to do with being electrocuted earlier." I quickly say. "Baby, I think I have superpowers!"
*the next day*
The band comes over to rehearse. Time for some fun. I make Kurt's electric guitar squeal. I walk into the room and they're all staring at it confused. I smirk and crank the amp up to ten. Tully strikes a cord and jumps in surprise when it's super loud. I can't help but laugh. "Jason? What's going on?" Tully asks. I strike a cord on his guitar without even touching it. My hands are glowing again though so I put gloves on so I can still mess with them. I just shrug and keep on messing around. But in the end I tell them. We didn't really get much done because of my high jinks. I chuckle and sit on the couch beside my girls. She holds my hand which is still gloved and now getting really hot so I take the gloves off. "Who's hungry I'm starved." I say, standing up, hiding my hands behind my back. We go out to eat. My hands are glowing again though so I keep them hidden.
Miranda's pov
"Jason you okay? You're acting kinda funny." I ask, looking at him. "I'm uh totally fine darlin'. I'm gonna go to the bathroom." He says, getting up, his hands stuffed in his pockets.
Jason's pov
Ok this is not cool. Electricity just shot out of my hand. I quickly run to the bathroom and put cold water on them. I've gotta figure out how to control this. I put my gloves back on. That seems to do the trick.
