Chapter 1: Hayate

The day of the ninja training arrived. Many old and familiar fighters from the past had arrived. Tina Armstrong, Hitomi, Kokoro, Mila, Leifang, Eliot and many, many more. They were all sitting, in the center of the Sakura garden and awaited for something to happen. Just then, someone came walking out of the temple. It was two men. One of them was wearing a full-body armour, a cowl with silver decoration, kunai tied to the outer thighs, arm guards, and a tatty scarf which doubles as a mask for the lower half of the face. And the other was wearing a black shozoku with grey chest armour, arm guards and shin guards, and a dark blue headband. They were Ryu Hayabusa and Hayate.

Hayabusa: Welcome, all of you. You are here because you have offered your aid in the defeat of Victor Donovan. You wish to be trained in the arts of Mugen Tenshi and become honorary ninjas to face the evil that threatens us.

Hayate: But let us warn you, this training will not be easy. It is a difficult task and you will be pushed to the very limit. You be ready to face the hardship that you come across.

Hayabusa: As you know, Victor Donovan was once the owner of DOATEC. But now, he owns a new organization that he calls MIST. With there technology they were able to create horrid clones and human androids. They've captured some of our friends and loved one, turning them into androids to attack us. But that all comes to an end.

Hayate: With your help, we can teach you how to become one of us and show you how to fight back against this threat and rescue our friends. But you are also welcome to leave, if you are not up to the task.

The students remained silence, not a word was said.

Hayabusa: Very well then. Let us begin!

Hayate: Each of you will stand up and offer to train against me. Now, which of you would like to step up and face me?

The crowd was silent, for a moment and finally...

???: I'll take the challenge!

From the back, a woman walked up to Hayate. She was a beautiful woman with short blonde hair. She was wearing a black jacket with a yellow hoodie underneath, blue denim shorts, a black hat with a white star, a silver pendant, black fingerless grappling gloves, a white belt and white knee-high boots.

Hayate: I see. Your Bass Armstrong's daughter, correct?

Tina: Right. Tina is my name and I can take your challenge!

Hayate: Then show me.

The first sparring match began...Hayate vs. Tina Armstrong. Tina was unknown to the Mugen Tenshi arts and she wasn't sure what she was getting herself into but she wanted to prove that she could be a ninja. She fought back and she was quite strong. Bass had really trained her well, well enough to withstand Hayate and his moves...however...Hayate was to prove if Tina was ninja material or not. He came to a close, when he finally defeated her.

Hayate: Most impressive.

Tina: So...whad'ya think?

Hayate: You show much promise, Tina. You still have much to learn but you've shown me that becoming a ninja is that important too you.

Tina: Yes, it is.

Hayate: Answer me...why is it important?

Tina: ...Dad was taken from me. He was turned into an android.

Hayate: And you think becoming a ninja will bring him back?

Tina: No, I'M gonna bring him back. If I become a ninja, I can strong enough to break through that metal junk and free him from Donovan.

Hayate: Hrm.....fighting for the one you love, you truly show burning desire, within you. But will you be willing to face the challenge that comes your way?

Tina: You mean...having to fight my own father? If it means freeing them, then yes!

Hayate looked to Hayabusa and he nodded, in acceptance.

Hayate: Well, if Hayabusa is convinced, then so am I. Welcome, Tina Armstrong.

Tina: You mean it, I'm in? Yeah! I did it!!!

The group of students clapped for Tina, worthy of becoming a ninja. Hayabusa simply stood there, with his arms crossed.

Hayate: Alright, let us continue on, shall we? Who will be next to face me?

Hayabusa walked back in and came across two other ninja but they were females. One of them had long brown hair, in a ponytail. She was wearing a black leather low-cut, shoulderless ninja outfit with long black fingerless gloves, black arm-guards and shin-guards, throwing knives tucked in pockets on her waist, blue choker necklace, and her wakizashi sword with decorative red tassels tied to her back. With her hair tied in a ponytail is a blue ribbon instead of the traditional yellow one. Four sections of the midriff's flanks are cut out. Her name was Kasumi. The other had short purple hair and red eyes. She had on a dark grey and black outfit consisting of a sleeveless waistcoat, a undershirt, knee-high boots, wrist guards, and thigh guards. Worn with sheer leggings and scabbards on the lower back holding two iris-kunai. Her name was Ayane. Back outside, Hayate continued training the students to become ninjas, his next opponent was a young man.

Hayate: Tell me, what is your name?

Eliot: Eliot, sir. I wish to become a Mugan Tenshi ninja so that I protect my friends from the threat that we shall face.

Hayate: Show that you are worthy of becoming a ninja.

The next battle began with Hayate vs. Eliot. He fought with much passion, in his heart. He tried to make Hayate tired and weak so that he could show his true strength but Hayate was no about to give in so easily. He outsmarted Eliot and gained the upper hand...winning the match.

Hayate: Not bad, Eliot. You fought just as well as Tina. You proved that means a lot.

Eliot: I wish to defeat any enemy that threatens those important to me and face the consequences, if I fail.

Hayate: Responsible young man, you are. Very well then, welcome, Eliot.

He smiled, as he was accepted to be a ninja. The matches kept going,as Hayate tested each and every student. They all incredible enough passed and were accepted as ninjas....now there training was going to begin. Hayabusa walked up the stairs and watched down on the students cheering and clapping for one a other. From behind him, a woman came walking up to Hayabusa and stood beside him.

???: Do you think they are ready for what is coming?

Hayabusa: They have to be. If we fail, they may be the only ones left to keep our world safe.

???: Let us hope that it won't come to that. They are just children.
