Dead Or Alive 6

Chapter 6: Tanya

On another building, Tanya was watching over the streets, looking for a revenant to show up. She began to grow bored and used her radio to give her partners a call.

Tanya: Is anyone, seeing anything?

???: Not me.

Cole: Nothing over here.

Stryker: Negative on my part.

Tanya hung up the phone and continued watching the streets. Her luck turned around, when she saw a glow, in the alleyway, not too far from her location. She chose not to call the others and went after the alleyway. When she got there, she hid behind a garbage can and watched the portal. And out came the revenant Kung Lao and Smoke. It seems as though they were here about there Revenant allies. Tanya could've called the others but she chose to handle this fight on her own.

Tanya: Kung Lao...Smoke...what a pleasant surprise.

Kung Lao: The traitorous Edenian, Tanya.

Smoke: Our business is not with you. Leave now.

Tanya: I don't think so. And I am no traitor. Edenia is not my home anymore.

Kung Lao: Then you leave us no choice!

Kung Lao and Smoke teamed up and fought against Tanya. Due to her training, she was a powerful fighter and could easily win against the two. But even when they were knocked down, they continued to get up. So Tanya resulted in a critical blow. She jumped in the air and kicked the back on Kung Lao's head, cracking his skull, she then jumped behind Smoke, grabbing his head and snapping the back of his neck. And to finish them both off, she threw Smoke towards Kung Lao and knocked them out.

Tanya: How sad! An Edenian can defeat a revenant.

To Tanya's surprise, someone jumped from a building and into the shadows. He walked out and revealed himself. He was wearing a red hood with black markings, light-blue jeans with a rip in the left pant leg and a black mask, over his mouth. He walked over to Tanya and looked down at the revenant Kung Lao and Smoke.

???: Good thing we were on watch.

Tanya: What do we do now?

???: You take them back to Helena. I will sweep around the area, one more time.

Tanya: Very well.

Tanya grabbed Kung Lao and Smoke, taking them back to Helena's boat. She however was having tea with Nightwolf.

Helena: So, you sacrificed yourself for the sake of your friends?

Nightwolf: Yes. It was the best way. But I remembered that I was still standing.

Helena: Then someone must have finished you off.

Nightwolf: Correct. I should have seen this coming. I was attacked, from behind, nearly burned completely.

Helena: Who would do that to you?

Nightwolf: I am not sure. But I am grateful that you restored me.

Helena: You are most welcome. We will stop at nothing to revive your others fallen ones.

Nightwolf: Let us hope that we can.

Tanya: Consider it done.

Helena and Nightwolf turned to the door and saw Tanya with Kung Lao in one arm and Smoke, in the other.

Helena: Tanya.

Nightwolf: The traitor to Edenia? What are you doing here?

Tanya: Assisting in restoring your friends.
