A/N: Just thought that some people would like to wake up to something to read;) And yes, I know it's short, sorry. Enjoy though, please. Oh and I forgot to edit this one so sorry for any grammar mistakes or something. Thanks for reading!

"Jax" My voice was barely above a whisper. He too was looking into the woods.

"I know." I barely caught his words as I stared at the shape. I looked down at my empty plate and glanced back up. I gasped lightly. In its place was Jarod. He was wearing shorts and a black tee. Jax stood up quickly and pushed me towards the door.

"Go and wake Laty." I was staring at Jarod in shock. He followed us home. No, no. He wasn't even a he. More like an it. I threw the glass door back and sprinted into my room. Laty wasn't in there. I threw open her door. She was in front of her mirror brushing her hair. She heard the door slam open and yelped.

"Good lord Ivy! Oh what's wrong?" I moved my hands around and she looked at me weird.

"Jax-wolf-Naked people-mom and dad!" I stuttered over my words, knowing she wouldn't understand but her face hardened and opened her bedside table and pulled out a long silver knife.

"Oh god Laty, what the hell!" She tossed me another knife that looked the same. I looked down at the intricate artwork.

"Laty, what the hell is going on?!" I held the knife out in front of me and followed her as she brushed by me.

"Laty, answer me!" She ignored me and walked back outside where Jarod was standing about 10 feet from the house and his hands in the air. Jax had already walked out the screen door.

"I just came to see if Ivory was alright. After all she is just a minor." Jax clenched his fists and took a step forward.

"You came here to take her back. She's not yours. I would say mutt but you're not even that." I stood at the door way, listening to what they were saying. Laty had tucked the knife in to the back of her jean shorts and was standing next to Jax.

"Jarod, you know the protocol. Please leave before a fight breaks out."

"Too late for that, Laty. This vam- I mean Jax already came onto our property and took something." I stepped outside and Jarod's eyes flickered over to me.

"Vampire. That's what you were going to say wasn't it?" Jax shifted slightly and Laty looked down.

"Vampire? Ivory listen to yourself. You don't really-"

"Oh I'm not as stupid as all you think. You knew all along Laty. All along. You too tried to tell me there was no such thing. But yet my mother and father are dead to something like that." I spat out, pointing to Jax.

"And you bastard, you kissed me!" I pushed him hard and Laty grabbed my arm.

"Stop it! You don't know anything so don't pretend you do. Ever wonder where my parents are? Huh? It's not just you Ivy. Its other people too. Others suffer. Think about others for once. And as for Jax, he's not bad. Be lucky he took you out of that place." I rolled my eyes and threw the knife into the ground, a little satisfied that it stuck. I turned from them and walked into the house. I threw open my door and grabbed a suit case and a back pack. I immediately started packing my most durable clothes. I grabbed clothes for the winter and tossed them in. I packed the stuff I needed the most in my back pack and grabbed the smaller attachment that went on the back. Laty had bought me a hiking back pack a few years back for a field trip that I went on. I was glad I had decided to save it. I zipped the suit case and back pack and walked in to the kitchen with the smaller attachment. I started to go through the cabinets and glanced outside to see a very angry Jax being held by Laty. I turned back and started packing packets of dehydrated fruits and what not. I filled the thermos with water and arranged everything together and zipped it all up. I paused on my way back to my room to look at Jax and Laty. I couldn't see anyone. I ignored the gnawing feeling in my gut and clipped the pack to the back pack and slipped it on. I went into my closet and slid the dresser to the side. I looked behind me before I peeled back the carpet and pushed the loose board up. I carefully slid the metal box out and ripped my ankle bracelet off and inserted the tiny key into the lock. A small click told me I unlocked it. I popped the open and pulled the money out. 5's,10's,20's,50's,100's. I smiled grimly and stuffed the money into a Ziplocs baggy and kept a couple hundred. I had saved money up for years, putting in some of my parents money in as well for a time when it was needed. I had around five thousand. 7 years worth. Laty didn't even know about it. I put five hundred off to the side and took out another three. I stuffed the 3 in my pocket and stood up. I walked with the five hundred and set it under Laty's pillow. I kissed my fingers and put them to the pillow.

"Bye bye Laty. Take care."
