Chapter 1: I said.....

If you read my other story, Vince proposed an engagement ring. So that picture above is what it looked like!

He put his finger to pause my answer before he continued;

"You've changed me, entirely, wholly, irrevocably. Living life is different now. It's all so different now. Missing you has stripped me to a soul level. You've made me richer than ever possible before. I've learned that true strength and courage arises when you've experience searing loss and cannot imagine carrying on. I've learned that the deepest joy is known by those who have also experience deep pain. I've seen that unending grief is really just a sin of an unending love. Spencer I love you. I'll be here for you when you grieve, when your happy." Vincent said.

It doesn't matter if he would buy me the whole world to show me how much he loves me, I already know he is mine and I am his.

"Yes." I said as he started to stand up. He took my hand and slid the ring on my finger. He gave me a big kiss and tears fell down my eyes.

I'm going to marry my best friend.

They took a good picture of us, well I didn't look so good. I looked like a strawberry.

After everything was out of the way, we went to a graduation party. The first one was with his family. Then the most interesting one was with the everyone at the cabins.

We got there to find shots and a keg spread out near a bonfire. It was kind of weird because the last time I was here, I was harassed... But that was all behind us now.

"Hey yo dudes! Welcome to the partayyyy" Said Mike that was already drunk. I gave him a small hug, while Vince collapsing him with a giant bear hug. The girls caught a glimpse of my ring and ran over.

"Oh my god, your ring is beautiful! Did Vince get it for you?" Said Shelby. I looked over at Vince to see if it was alright to tell him to announce the news. He just smiled and said, "I proposed to her."

They all gasped and squealed. Mike hugged me and handed me a shot, "Let's -burping a really loud burp- celebrate your marriage."

I took it, then shot it down. One quickly turned into ten.

We turned on Can't Hold Us by Macklemore in Vince's truck, blasting it.

I already knew I was drunk, everything was spinning and my insides we're hot. Shelby grabbed onto my arm and we screamed "NAH, NAH, NAH, NAH!"

We danced around the fire like crazy people and it felt really great.

After we all calmed down a bit, we sat down on the logs by the fire. Vince laid his head on my lap and I combed his hair with my fingers.

If he falls asleep on me, I swear..

I looked at my phone and it was already three in the morning. Where did time go?

I looked over at Shelby as she made out with Mike.

Well then

I shook Vince's head and he woke up easily.

"Yes babe?" He said as he got up. I smiled and said, "Please come to bed with me."

He looked at me in a confusingly way and I said, "We will be just sleeping tonight Vince."

He bent his head down and grabbed my hand. I followed him to the cabin and we went in. We got over to the bed and he lifted up the covers. He threw off his shoes and fell right into bed. Then he was out like that.

Me on the other hand, I felt really uncomfortable, I was really afraid to be in this cabin.

I laid in bed and attempted to sleep. Which didn't work out well. I kept seeing a figure where the bathroom was. Everytime I blinked, it wouldn't go away. I shook Vince which didn't wake up.

"Vince please I'm scared." I said as I continued to shake him. I about got up out of bed and ran out of the cabin. But he woke up and wrapped his hands around me.

"Don't be scared babe." He said kissing my cheek. "I'll keep you safe." He must not be drunk anymore. I smiled and fell into his arms. Then we both drifted off to sleep.

I woke up with the most worst hangover ever. I threw the covers off of me and got up, putting my boots on.

"And where are you going?" Vince said as he put his pants on.

"Home, I feel like shit." I said as I walked toward the door. He grabbed my hand and said, "Where the hell is your ring?" I looked at my hand and it was gone. I gave him big eyes, I looked all over the bed.

"How would it come off? It fits perfectly!" I said still rummaging through the covers. And to make it hundred times better, I had a pounding headache.

"You mean this ring?" Mike said as he stood at the door, holding my ring. I stomped over and ripped it out of his hand.

"How the hell did you get this? I said angrily. He just laughed and walked out. I rolled my eyes and walked out the door. Vince followed me as I walked to his truck. He caught up with me and said, "Babe what's wrong?"

"I have a hangover from hell. I'm not drinking for a long time." I jumped in his truck and he did the same. I was mad because I was feeling like shit, then I was stressing about almost losing my ring. It just wasn't the greatest morning.

Then I busted out the question.

"Vince whats going to happen next." I said as we started to drive into the parking lot.

"I'm going to marry you... And that's what I got so far." He said looking at his feet.

"Before we get married, you have to move in!" I said getting a little happier now. He shook his head, "That's to much for you."

I shook my head and gave him the finger. He grabbed me by the waist and said, "I'm kidding babe. I would love to move in."

Then the best chapter of my life was soon starting.
