It's been 4 days since my surgery and I get discharged tomorrow. The time flew by fast because I have been sleeping the whole time. School started 2 days ago, and none of my friends have visited me nor called.
The doctors finally let me walk around on my own and not in a wheel chair. I hated that thing anyways. Vince was in one now, but it was way better than staying in bed all day. I was currently pushing him around and taking a stroll through the hospital. It was way past our curfew but we didn't really care.
"Let's take turns telling each other our memories.", Vince suggested. In the past week, he has been remembering so much. The doctors say his memory will fully come back in a month, which is super exciting.
I nodded and sat in one of the chairs in the hallway. I put my legs on one of the handle bars. "I remember when we were four-wheeler riding......", he said kissing my forehead.
"I remember..... when I stayed at your house when I got kicked out, I got to sleep in your comfy bed. It smelled good too.", I admitted, smirking.
"So you think I smell good?", he said sniffing his hospital gown.
"Yeah, you smell like sandalwood and lemons. It's really nice.", I said sighing and sitting back in my seat.
"Sandalwood? Really?", he said laughing. "Well, you smell like sweet pea and a hint of Spencer."
"And what does Spencer smell like?", I said laughing a lot now.
"It smells pretty damn good.", he said and pulled me onto the wheel chair. I sat on his lap and kissed his lips.
"When we get out of here, we're gonna buy a mansion.", he said smirking.
"We can barely afford an apartment.", I said rolling my eyes at him. There was a moment of silence, just staring at each other in the eyes. His eyes were a deep brown. They tell their own story, like a book. His eyes tell me that his life was rough growing up, but he found a girl that loves him for just who he is.
"We better get back, the security will probably be looking for us now.", he said as I climbed off of him. I wheeled him to the room, thinking about everything.
I still haven't told Vince about me getting discharged tomorrow.
I put a hand on his arm and was about to pull him up into bed. "No, I got this." I backed off and watched him get up into bed by himself.
"I'm getting discharged tomorrow.", I blurted out as I paced around the room.
"Really?", he said as if he were surprised.
"Yeah. But I don't know if I'm going to leave. I mean, I could just skip another week.", I said slowly walking toward him.
"No, your going. I'll be fine here.", he said grabbing my hand to get closer.
"I don't want to leave you alone here.", I whined.
"Maybe I could get out with you....", he said smiling.
"You know you have brain damage and you have burns on your leg...", I said before he crashed his lips to mine.
"Vince.", I said in between kisses.
"Just can we enjoy this. Please?", Vince pleaded and pulled back. I nodded and smiled. I kissed him, his tongue traveling all through my mouth. I pulled his hair, making him moan in my mouth.
The door creaked open and I pulled back. "Vincent, we have to change your bandages.", the nurse said.
I went over to my bed, criss-crossing on my bed. "Where is my phone?"
