Chapter 30:I Already Fucking Scanned It!

I woke up on the couch, well half on and half off. I sat up and stretched a bit then got up. I walked to the kitchen and started to make some coffee.

I heard some noises from outside, so when my coffee was done, I looked out the window. Vince was practicing soccer again, a small smile fell upon my face. 

I wakled out and into the backyard, "Goodmorning." 

He kicked the ball, curving into the net. "Hey." He gave me a sweat hug and kissed me. 

"Sorry if I stink.", he said running his fingers through his hair. 

"It's alright, I haven't taken a shower yet, so I stink too.", I said laughing. He put his hands on his hips and said, "Hashtag stinky lovers forever.",he said laughing. He grabbed me by the waist and we walked to the porch. It began to rain hard, so we ran inside quickly. 

"I'm gonna shower.", I said walking up the stairs. He walked into one of the spare rooms and took a shower in there. I walked into the master bedroom, starting the shower up. I walked into the shower, turning the knob, getting it to the right temperature.

I got out of the shower and walked back into the bedroom. Vince was butt-naked. 

"What are you doing?", I said laughing as I grabbed my bag, dragging it to the bathroom. I grabbed my 'essentials' bag from the bedroom and he said, "Giving you a good view.", shaking his ass. 

"Oh my gosh.", I said as I ran back into the bathroom. I put on a pair of shorts and a sports bra. I walked out and into the bedroom.

Vince was finally clothed and I ran over to him. "That color looks good on you.", Vince said pointing at my blue-green sports bra. 

"This looks good on you.", I said outlining his abs. He kissed my forehead and said, "What you wanna do today?"

"Well, we can't go outside because it's pouring.... Maybe we could bake something?", I said kissing him. 

"What you want to bake? I mean, were gonna have to go to the store because all the stuff here is really old.", he said laughing. 

"Alright, let's get going then!", I said putting on my shirt. I grabbed my wallet and walked down stairs. 

"Okay what do we wanna make?", Vince said looking through his phone. 

"Look up something...... Fun to make!", I said in a child's voice. He looked it up and showed me a rainbow cake. 

"We could make the different layers different flavors!", Vince said jumping off the counter. I nodded and we got an umbrella. We ran out of the house and tring to get into the truck.

"Vince unlock the door!", I screamed laughing as water dripped all over me. 

"I'm trying!", he said dragging out the 'yi'. As he got the truck door open, we both jumped in.

"You should get back into soccer.", I blurted out as I grabbed 7 boxes of white cake mix. 

"And what brought this up?", he said as he grabbed the icing. 

"I don't know, I mean you were pretty amazing yesterday. And I saw you practicing today, you could maybe play for a university!",I exclaimed.  

"Yeah, honey I'm not really a 'college' kind of person.", he chuckled and put the icing in the basket. He walked away and my phone began to ring the John Cena ring tone. 

"Blake, why did you put this stupid ringtone?", I said as I answered the phone. 

"Yo.", I answered. 

"Dude, that date I went on was BORING!", he whined into the phone. 

"How was it BORING?", I said in the same tone. 

"She was all like 'omg we're gonna be together forever' and 'I love you so much' kind of bullshit. The 'date' turned into a one night stand. And let me tell you she gives goooooood head.", he said laughing. 

"BLAKE!", I said covering my face with my hands. 

"Okay sorry. I got to go.", he said and hung up. Vince came back with mangos in his shirt. 

"Look at my boobies!", he whispered as he shimmied. I laughed and got a pic. He took them out of his shirt and put them into the basket, along the the bottles of flavoring. 

"Are we all set?", I said as I picked up the basket. 

"Here give it to me.", he said taking the basket from me. 

"You know, I can carry somethings.", I said. 

"Yeah sure....", he rolled his eyes as we walked to the self-checkout. 

"Now scan your item.", the machine said.I swiped it and it said, "Scan your item." I scanned it again. 

"Scan your item.", it repeated. "I already fucking scanned it!", I said to the stupid machine. 

"Having a problem ms.?", said someone from behind me. I slowly turned around to see a blonde guy who must have been a manager.

"Um....Y-Yeah. It won't scane.", I said slowly handing him the cake mix. 

"This thing can be a bitch sometimes.", he said swiping it. It scanned finally and he just scanned the rest of my stuff too. 

"Thank you again.", I said as Vince grabbed the bags. "No problem.", he replied. I nodded and Vince and I walked out of the store. We found the truck and jumped in, putting the bags onto the floor. 

"Have I told you that I am crazy in love with you?", he said turning on the truck. 

"Well the feeling his mutual.", I said kissing him. He gave me a toothy smile and drove out of the parking lot.

When we got back to the house, I spread out all of the things we have gotten. Vince got all the bowls, spoons, plates, measuring cups. Everything. He then got on his phone and looked up how to do the rainbow cake. 

"Okay, so I guess you have to bake each layer.....", Vince said.

"Have you ever baked before?", I said laughing. 

"Yeah..... The first thing you do... I think is this?", he said as he through a cup of flour at me. 

"WHAT THE HELL?!", I screamed. I grabbed two eggs and hid them behind my back. He began to laugh, but his laugh stopped when I crushed two eggs on his head. 

He gasped and said, "MY BEAUTIFUL HAIR!"

"It ain't beautiful no more!", I said laughing. 

"We're never going to get this cake done...", Vince said laughing.

"Yes we will!!!"
